I visited on a Friday around 1pm. Inside is really small, but cute, and clean with nice music. I think they have 5 tables and 4 bar seats. The server served and waited the tables by herself. She did a great job. I went with the Bayou Burger, special cheese sauce on the side, with added grilled onions. I had an Arnold Palmer for the drink. I received my food in a timely manner. My burger was great! Seasoned to perfection and cooked just right. The special cheese sauce was just ok. It was a mixture of cheese and tomatoes. I’m glad I opted for this on the side. While my fries were seasoned and fried good, they were not hot. Bummer. My drink was really good. Sweet just like I like it but it may be a little too sweet for others. Overall I’m glad I visited. I will return to try the brunch but I’ll see if I can make a reservation due to the limited seating.

When we walked in we were immediately greeted and seated. Everything was clean and the staff was organized. The food came out quickly and was full of flavor. The presentation of the food was beautiful and elevated. I’m truly impressed. Thank you Danielle for a wonderful experience and excellent service. We will be back and we will be recommending this restaurant for sure! Also: we were too hungry and excited to take pics of the food!

We went in to pickup a to-go order. The ladies at the bar didn’t seem too friendly when we arrived. I almost felt like we were bothering them by asking for our takeout.
We were told it would take ten minutes for our order to be prepared however once we arrived, we found ourselves waiting for about an additional fifteen minutes :/
The portion sizes aren’t the biggest either. My husband and I were wanting to split the catfish filet dish that comes with fries, thinking that a filet for each of us would be enough. The “filets” in question are more like strips. They’re like kids meal size.

The service was not rated low because it was her fault. Running out of coffee was not the waiters fault. No sugar available at the table was not her fault either but if you have to wait that long for your food make sure your service is constant and consistent at the table while waiting. There is a lot of potential for the restaurant and we want to see it be successful but more help is needed to take care of the customers at the front of house. Also make sure your menus are accurate and you serve what is stated on the menu. i.e. Fish and Grits is listed with potatoes but it did not come with it. Why doesn’t shrimp and grits come with potatoes if fish and grits do? Also you serve Dr pepper but it’s not on the menu. There are no side or Al a cart items listed on the menu. With all of this said it’s ok not to be 100% perfect as you are starting the business but you will not survive if you don’t make it apparent that you are working towards getting better and do the simple things really well as you are getting started. People will not be patient if they are not well attended to as they wait.
