The food was worth the wait! Hot and fresh. The seafood was fresh with no fishy smell, reasonable prices . Really enjoyed the meal. The seafood platter was roughly $15 with shrimps, oysters, stuffed crab, fish strips, fries, coleslaw, ans ranch beans. My mini fish dish was $4.49 with 3 fish strips, fries, and hush puppies. Excellent eating. Friendly staff also. Great job Catfish King in Monroe, La. located on Sterlington Rd.

This place has been great over the years but now they are selling Asian swain catfish instead of American farm raised catfish. Buyer beware. The so call catfish they do have is very fishy and not fresh taste. They have lost my business.

On 10-14-25 (my daddy’s birthday) my daddy and my daughter got terribly sick from the food they got here. I called the restaurant to let them know that both my daddy and my daughter got food poisoning from the food they ate there. They had the nerve to ask if I was sure that they had gotten sick from there. I told them that yes I was sure because that’s the only food they ate that day. They never offered an apology or offered a refund. The only thing they did was make an incident report. If you eat here please proceed with caution.

My service was terrible
I had to go into the back because nobody was up front. And then when she came out, it seems that I got on her nerves. Didn’t give me a menu or greet me or ask me anything like “how may I help you today?” Terrible customer service. Service makes the food taste bad or good. Bad service bad food good service good food. I was very disappointed to be spending $27 on 2 fish lunch plates and 2 sweet tea’s for my food to be old. I went through the drive through at 12:30 on a Friday and my fish, hush puppies and fries are cold like they were cooked an hour before. The cole slaw had alot of water and no dressing.

Your Restaurant needs to put signs up inside,outside and online for door dash customers. I just ordered a pick up order and canceled the order due to a policy that customers are not aware of. All Door Dash pick ups must be obtained inside. I was in the drive thru and I canceled my order because of the policy. This should be privy to all customers in store and online.
