I was honestly surprised by this restaurant. Good food, great atmosphere, an amazing view, and excellent service. The wait staff was killing it! I had the catfish and I really liked it. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food. The portions are good. The menu is limited, but we knew that before going. If you want lakeside dining, but are tired of going to Liberty, check this place out!

We love it here…casual boardwalk type setting with a tike type bar overlooking lake murray and the marina. Dont forget to get your picture with the big Catfish on the side of thw restaurant!

We were out on the lake decided to pull in to Catfish Johnnys. Great valet service at the dock to assist with our parking. Customer service was great and our waiter was great. Luckily it wasn’t super busy, I think the bartender would’ve become overwhelmed. Especially since we ordered our drinks twice and got the wrong one both times. Picture below is a sample of what we ate, teriyaki wings, fried shrimp, and a shrimp wrap. The food was ok, which is why I gave them a 4. The teriyaki wings,however, were the BEST!!! Bathrooms are clean and Air conditioned!!

For a lakeside bar it provides what one would expect. The better eatery is the Rusty Anchor, co located with Catfish Johnnys. Biggest draw back is the crowd. A better policing of the customers by wait staff would help. Too many obnoxious drunks who obviously cannot handle their alcohol. When they clean that up, we will go back.

On my first vist , I was walking up the stairs, grabbed the railing crumbled, and I fell skinny my knees and I’m bleeding. Nobody asked if I was OK nothing not even a free drink. Second visit my daughter had the blackened tuna sandwich and got food poisoning and I have the doctors report to prove it. Called them asked to speak to a manager. They said they were too busy at the manager would call back never happened, so their customer service sucks
