Whenever you have a hankering for catfish in Clarksville there’s only one place to go, the Catfish House! You’ll be treated to the tastiest catfish cooked multiple different ways like battered, grilled, blackened, all with sides and hush puppies. Want something more grounded? Steak hamburgers and sandwiches are available along with chicken, shrimp, clams, and more!
The atmosphere is cozy and well lighted, great service, I mean you’re really in for a treat.

Was $44 before a tip. I got a 6oz Sirloin dinner and Hubs got a Catfish dinner. You do have to pay for the okra now which is 2.99 for a big bowl but it’s worth it! Pretty great food and an awesome staff! Hubs loved his fried corn on the cob, and we both loved the salad I got with mine! 10 outta 10 from us! The pic is my salad and his okra I didn’t take anymore photos I was busy eating lol Thank y’all!

Less than 10 minute wait on a Saturday night which is AWESOME! Our server was prompt, kept our tea glasses filled, and food arrived hit and delicious. We will be back for sure.

We finally got out to Catfish House and so glad we did! We arrived as they opened and didn’t have to wait long for our food. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer and they were fantastic! Full of flavor and just the right crispiness. We both ordered the fillet dinner with a baked potato. Was surprised the potato does not come with butter at all, but the white beans are delicious!! They give you a choice of mayo or vinegar slaw which I was super happy for, I love vinegar slaw and theirs was delicious!! The catfish was cooked to perfection but the breading needed seasoning, big time. Since it’s a cornmeal breading (yes I’m aware most places serve it that way and while I prefer tempura, I will eat cornmeal) it definitely needed some seasoning. Would have knocked it out of the park if the catfish had the onion ring batter!! Overall great meal and we will be returning again and again.

It was our first time visiting. It was suggested to us by a coworker. Very unique location! Would love to see it in the summertime. Three out of four of us got the catfish strip dinner and other got the combination dinner. Everything was very good! Loved sweet tea Will definitely drive another hour to go eat there again.

You guys!! This place was so good. They offer mayo coleslaw or vinegar coleslaw. You can also ask for a mixture, which I prefer. The white beans, I just don’t know what to say, but, awesome. The best part is that the price was $55 for appetizer 2 drinks and two meals. We also had to have to ho boxes. Portions were big. You walked out satisfied in your stomach and wallet.

Great little find. Super cute atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food came out pretty quickly.
Shared the appetizer platter was delicious. Hubby ordered 2 piece fish dinner. He loved the spicy white beans. Said it was the star of the show. Fish and hush puppies were solid as well.
I had the chicken fettuccine alfredo. Solid pasta. Came with a salad. Was huge. Real bacon bits, cheese, shoe string potato stix.
Open at 4. We were sat about 430. Had open tables. Half an hour later, most tables were full.
Definitely returning.

Dare I say it? Yep this is the best catfish you will find in the city. Meal was prepared as if big momma was in the back cooking. All of the staff were pleasant and displayed exceptional teamwork. I had the Cajun catfish dinner with Mac and cheese, white beans, hush puppies and a salad. BTW all of that was included in the dinner! Food was better than expected. I loved the drive to this place just beautiful. Add this establishment to your family, friendly, affordable checklist.

What a treat! Dinner here is a step back in time to when dinner salads had toppings – potato sticks, real bacon and shredded cheese – and the meal quality matched, even exceeded, the price charged. I never realized how much I missed oven baked potatoes – complete with foil wrapper – until I discovered one with my meal. What a difference an oven makes, rather than microwaving them. Ribeye, baked tater, salad, roll, beans – ✅
Everything about a meal at Catfish House is what has been missing for a good, long time. Thank you, CH, for staying true to what works for your customers.
