The best hush puppies you’ll likely ever have. I’m of the opinion that it doesn’t even matter if you are a fan of hush puppies or not, the ones at Catfish Hole are so good that you’ll like them regardless. Staff even refill them for you.

The customer service was great. Very attentive. The hush puppies were the freshest I’ve ever had and tastes great (I’m not really a hush puppy person but these might have changed my mind) and the coleslaw had good taste. The fried catfish was decent with the fresh lemon, but fries were a big greasy. Overall good experience.

Wonderful family owned restaurant that is a staple in the community. The catfish is on point and is since of the best you can have. Their fruit pies are exceptional. They are only not served on Friday and Saturday. Of course, they serve sweet tea and other southern traditional items. Finally, they provide hushpuppies like chips, all you can eat for free!!

Catfish Hole is a landmark restaurant in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Come for the catfish. Stay for the side dishes! All the food is amazing. Large parties are welcome and no problem to accommodate 20+ people.

I am not a real big fan of catfish, however a couple of times a year I do like to eat it. So I typically have high expectations of the catfish when I do eat it so keep that in mind. First I have to say the wait staff was excellent. It was a very busy day and they were very friendly and they all seem to help one another keep everyone’s drink full. As far as the food, I was a bit disappointed, it was decent enough, but it was a rather lengthy wait, and although the fish wasn’t cold it wasn’t hot either. The french fries were a bit undercooked. But overall a passable meal. Perhaps the the kitchen staff was having an off day.

I love Catfish Hole. We drive about 30 miles to eat there several times a year. However, lately, the catfish size has been very small. I asked the waitress today if my catfish was a normal 5 piece portion size and she said yes, and didn’t offer to get another piece. So, I have to give a low rating now.
