In 1985, D’Ann Davis purchased Catfish Haven Restaurant. It was a small family-style restaurant located just 10 miles from Lake Texoma. She made everything from scratch and served it up fast and hot. Business steadily grew and for 12 years she served the freshest catfish and homemade pies around. Everything is still made from scratch, from D’Ann’s original recipes. We serve fresh vegetables with every meal. Our daily lunch specials include catfish, chicken fried streak or chicken tenders along with two side orders. Wow! This is a great catfish spot. I had the fried catfish lunch. This catfish was delicious. It tasted very fresh and came out within minutes of ordering. Staff was also very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I’ve eaten here many times and almost always with a group of 6 or larger. The family is always willing to accommodate groups. The food is good. It tastes like most of the food is made fresh there and not some pre-made, box truck, delivery. The wait staff always seem pleasant and do their best to handle to rushes the best they can. The kitchen is small, so if the restaurant is busy, don’t expect your food quickly. It’s good food and worth the wait. The wait staff seem a bit overworked, but I did see a sign for “hiring wait staff” so it’s not something that is on purpose. Of all the times I’ve eaten here, I can’t remember once that I left unhappy with the food or didn’t understand why the service was slow. This is a small, family owned restaurant that have been doing this for looks like at least two generations judging by the pictures on the walls.

Horrible. Ordered onion rings and hush puppies as apps. Both were very overcooked and greasy. That same theme applied to the entrees, overcooked. Others in party removed breading off food and tried to eat. Photo shows greasy paper from onion rings. Notice the fries, we never ordered them, assume they were put in the bottom to soak up the grease.

After driving by this restaurant many times, we finally decided to stop & try it (after my wife discovered they offer more than catfish). Our first visit was on Friday, 6/30 and our server was Kelly. Service was Excellent and the food was Great! We stopped by again on Friday, 7/7 and asked for Kelly. Again, both service & food exceeded expectations! We have now made this a Friday stop for us! Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

My wife and I and another couple had a wonderful experience at Catfish Haven. Two of us had the Jumbo Shrimp with sides and another had the three piece catfish with sides and the next had fish and shrimp combo with salad and sides. The portions was, well let’s just say we all could not eat it all and was worthy of more than five stars. The services was impeccable. Will definitely put it on one of our top places to come back again. Two very happy couples ☺️

Ate here for the first time today, Aug 20,2023, on our way to MegaStar. Very very impressed. Food was delicious, wait staff was wonderful, food came out in minutes, and the place was spotless!!! I’m very OCD, first thing I do is look on shelves and ceiling fans…no dust, no cobwebs, literally spotless!!! We will be back, next time I know not to each so much of the food so I can try the pie!!!
