First time here and we had one server for our party of 16 – who also had about 6 other tables. The food came out in a timely manner, service was great, drinks were always refilled, and the food portions were huge.

Cool little spot in a small town near the MO river. We ordered spinach artichoke dip and chips, a tenderloin sandwich and side of grilled asparagus. The chips and dip were excellent, although we had to ask for more chips. There was a little wait, but we weren’t going anywhere fast, so not a problem. The tenderloin sandwich was very good, but the asparagus was a very small portion and still cold in the center. Overall, it was a good little place to stop and eat out in the middle of nowhere.

First time visiting here on a motorcycle ride. We happened to pass by it and were hungry so we decided to pay a visit! I got the chicken tenders which were very good and the breading was awesome! It comes with a side of coleslaw and fries! The coleslaw was a bit flavorless in my opinion but it was still very good! First time having alligator and it did not disappoint! Parking is on gravel so if you’re riding your motorcycle be careful! They don’t accept discover card so be mindful! Service was great and food was great! I’d come again ᵕ̈

Disclaimer: I don’t like catfish. We ordered sampler appetizer with calamari, mushrooms, pepper jack bites. All good, all deep fried. My husband ordered tenderloin and fries. (He said they were good). I had walleye and sweet potato fries. Walleye was fried… see the theme… everything fried. I think we should have ordered differently. Too much fried food for us although it sounded good ordering. Next time I would go for a burger. I’m sure the experience would be better during summertime. The view would be good.

Always pretty busy, food is good, prices are decent, service is slow but waitresses are very friendly and know the menu. Bingo night is always packed and fun! They have COKE!! It’s a hit and miss on cheesecake. Love the fried pickles! Great place to eat crab legs for a decent price!

Don’t miss out on this diamond in the rough! Great food, friendly staff, good home cooking. Between the two of us, we tried the catfish, spiced shrimp , hand breaded onion rings, mashed potatoes & gravy, and coleslaw . All were terrific Sorry I didn’t think to take a picture but patio option for seating is great too, with a view of the muddy water

I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I showed up but we loved it. Such great food, fantastic service (I think her name was Destiny), drinks were great as well. It was well worth the drive and we will definitely be back for the Spring. They have a beautiful outdoor setup overlooking the water. We will be recommending Catfish Charlies to many people. Side note: the gater bates were perfect, definitely recommend the cajun catfish and the bacon wrapped shrimp!

First time visitors lastnight, and we’re already talking about what we’re going to try next time. Everyone was super friendly and fun to talk to, especially the bartender. Their fried okra is scrumptious. Fried catfish was some of the best I’ve ever had. I thought the regular breading was better and crunchier than the Cajun breading. You must try their green beans, your taste buds will dance for joy. Yummy hush puppies!

Cute little place but they must have been super busy before we got there because they were out of everything. I was able to order a burger but no cheese was available. It would have been acceptable to wait for a hour for food had the food we were able to get was good. It was not. I wanted it to be better than it was. It was an experience to say the least.
