I first discovered this coffee shop on TikTok and made a mental note to visit—and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the décor. The Halloween/Nightmare Before Christmas–inspired theme was incredibly creative and fun. I ordered the crème brûlée latte, which was delicious with the perfect balance of sweetness. They even added a smoky effect to my iced coffee, which made the experience even more memorable. Such a unique and enjoyable visit—this place is a fantastic addition to the town’s coffee scene!

While out running errands in the Wayne & Boonton areas this past weekend we came across Catfight Coffee on Main Street in Boonton. OMGoodness was this a fantastic find. The amazing logo catches your eye from the street. Then you’re greeted by life sized Mars Attacks figures. Once inside it’s just a gorgeous, eclectic space. Danny behind the counter was an absolute pleasure. She offered suggestions and couldn’t have been sweeter. I ordered a lavender iced latte and my wife got the Cereal Killer Cold Brew. We split a chocolate donut and a cronut which were both delicious. The coffees were excellent. We were lucky that the owners happen to be there as well…Acey Slade and his wife Meiling. Both were wonderful!! Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been drinking Cafe Du Monde (reg & decafe) as my house brand coffee for easily 10 years. Catfight Coffee has taken the position as my house. The store is great. Well thought out. I keep wishing Acey would expand to Somerville. But I digress. I did all my Christmas shopping via their website and then, dang nabbit, I deserve a delivery myself. I’m set for a month or so.
Catfight Coffee is a great place to meet, hang out, and get the best freshest coffee in the known universe.

Yet another coffee shop with a unique theme in town but this one truly stands out with its charming cat-inspired decor! The cozy atmosphere and attention to detail make it a delightful place to relax. The coffee is surprisingly strong and flavorful, even the crème brûlée café latte had just the right balance of sweetness and richness. Definitely a must-visit spot for both coffee and cat lovers alike! ☕

I’ve visited a handful of times so far. Each time the customer service and friendliness has been top notch. It’s a very cozy and chill punk coffee shop. The baristas’ playlists vary from emo, punk, grunge, etc!

Most unique and tasty beverage I’ve ever had at a coffee shop! <3 I ordered the black heart coconut latte with their home made oat milk and it was INCREDIBLE! As a black cat lover myself, the decor was outstanding. Unfortunately, I did not snap any photos of the inside, but you’ll have to go and see for yourself. The staff was also super friendly and patient with me taking forever to decide on my order. Great place!

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, especially if you love horror and Halloween. I ordered the pumpkin matcha and it was delicious and kept me energetic. The pumpkin was not artificial tasting at all, in fact it tasted so real. Bought my 2 best friends here too. I took a bite out of one of their desserts, which is the Better than Entennman’s donut and it actually was! I also loved that there were question cards on the tables so my friends and I had fun doing that to each other.

This is a very cool spot. And the traffic clearly reflects it.
There was a line the whole length of the cafe for our entire visit.
The theme of cats, Halloween, and lightheaded horror is clear and consistent. All of the signage follows the orange and black color scheme. There are two full size martians adding to the decor. Even the customers added to the ambience. I saw more fantastic classic band tees than I’ve seen all year up until now
We had plenty of time to observe it all while going through the line.
The employees were all super positive and frequently thanked customers for their patience and patronage. They explained that they were doing everything they could to keep things going as quickly as they could. It was great proactive customer service and I didn’t hear a single patron grumbling about the wait.
They have a good selection of drinks and a few choice pastry selections. Everything that we had was excellent. It is all made well with high quality ingredients. It comes at a premium price, but it is premium quality and worth the splurge
There are tons of fun little details from the Martians to the bookcase door.
They carry some fun fully licensed cross branded bag of coffee (Creepshow, Misfits, Alice Cooper, etc.)
It is a fun, unique, independent, local business that lives up to the hype!
