The atmosphere was warm and family-friendly. I learned that the owner was behind the bar while his daughter served our table—she was friendly, engaging, and knew the menu well. Each dish we ordered was excellent. I tried the pork shank special and it was expertly prepared, while my wife enjoyed the breaded veal, which was equally tasty. The prices were reasonable and the portions generous. We’ll definitely return to sample more items from the menu!

I was not going to write a review, but the more I thought about it, I decided to. We have been going to Caterina’s for years. Never really had an issue till the last 2 times we went. We go for our Anniversary which is in May, we make our reservations for Christmas Eve when we leave, 7 months in advance because we like to sit in a booth. Tony himself wrote the reservation in the book. We got there Christmas Eve and were told they did not have our name down? But, someone had canceled so we got seated at a Table instead of a booth. Then we were just there a week ago with my Brother and Sister-in-law. My Brother called 2 months in advance for reservations, asked for a booth. He also called the night before to confirm the time with a booth and it was in the books. We got there and the person at the desk said he had the name but not a booth???? Seated us at a table, but funny though, there were 2 booths that stayed empty the whole time we ate and were still empty when we left. I’m thinking someone at the bar was a bit more important than us? I am really disappointed because it was one of our favorite places. Thinking Henry Flach’s, Steakhouse 100 and Milwaukee Steakhouse will get our business now.

The staff was amazing and they had good bread and starter tray. However the food wasn’t great. My shrimp linguine tasted like something I could make at home Ragu so it wasn’t spectacular. My fiancés chicken was better but not spectacular. The wine was good. We probably would’ve spent more time here but the table next to us was SO loud and so obnoxious. Not the restaurant/ staff fault but they probably should’ve been cut off. One lady was talking about bunions she got cut off her feet in the middle of my meal.EW. Again not the restaurants fault but I swear they were so loud that the whole restaurant could hear. Anyways, even though the staff was great I won’t return just because the food is not great especially for the price!!

First time coming to eat here. Came in on a whim, on a Saturday. We didn’t have reservations but highly recommend them. We got lucky, they had one table left. The prices are a bit high but the food & service was EXCELLENT!! We never had to wait for anything!! Had the calamari as an appetizer & it was tender & tasty. The chicken soup was homemade! My only complaint is they didn’t have sangria which was a bummer.
The staff was very friendly & we will be back!!

Wow…Wow…Wow…how can something be SOoooo good be so depressing at the same time?!

Well, on NYE…don’t remember how it came to me, but an idea popped into my head to go here. The draw back, it’s a two hour drive each way; the good, I actually like to drive. The last time we were here was almost 20 years ago!!! I actually remember the experience like it was yesterday! The wife and I was dating at the time and what a wonderful experience it was! The waitress was a much older lady and boy did she treat us perfectly! I remember cracking up, because she treated us like her children! We loved the experience! It made such a great impression that we always wanted to go back! Sad part is…life stepped in and 20 years later we finally went back to where it all started!

Tonight was a special night…actually special day. The stars lined up and we get to have a reservation knowing it was busy and once again had a great time! This time we had a young punk serving us…she was GREAT! Thank gawd she didn’t treat us like the first waitress! Ha! Perfect timing with service and even the bus boys was good. Water filling was well timed. Drinks offer was perfect time when low. And the food…what can U say about the food…WOW!!! Very tasty and well seasoned! Both of our dishes were delicious and can’t wait for the next time. That’s the sad part of our story…can’t believe it took us 20yrs but hey, WE R BACK! We will make all attempts to go back more frequently, if they promise to keep this up! thank you for a fantastic experience!

I’ve driven by this place a number of times and finally decided to stop in for dinner on a Monday night with my husband sans kids. What a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is a bit like a supper club and a place where everyone knows your name. Trudy was our waitress – seasoned and full of menu suggestions. We started with a bottle of wine – Sangiovese and Cab blend – reasonably priced and paired well with our dishes. All the meals come with warm bread, an appetizer board, and soup or salad. I was nearly full before the meals arrived. I had the chicken parm, which was a large portion served nice and hot. My husband had the lamb shank which was cooked to perfection, fell right off the bone. We ended the night with a piece of tiramisu, traditional and the lady fingers were well-soaked! We’ll be back, Caterina’s!

Lasagna had no flavor. Just tomato sauce, little meat and cheese. Awful. The pasta with shrimp was supposed to have garlic but tasted like pasta, shrimp and olive oil. I paid $29 for that meal which I barely ate. The bread was the best thing

Food portions were big. The halibut was a pretty big filet but it was raw in the middle not cook thoroughly The lamb shank was phenomenal. The wait staff was fantastic. Old school Italy with the oil and bread. Would have been a five-star with the food if it was cooked properly.
