It’s the kind of spot that wins over everyone — from the preppy Williamsburg crowd to the shee-shee Hamptonites. Easygoing vibe, great food, and a bar that knows what it’s doing.
Highly recommended — one of those rare places that feels like both a local favorite and a weekend escape. GO!
I also ordered a mixed dozen oysters and baked clams and they were both so good , I couldn’t recommend them both enough .
I can’t say more than the pictures about the food. Not to be missed is the fried flounder anything! & of course the
Seating is tight but it all works✌️
The atmosphere at Catch Oyster Bar is pleasant, creating a nice dining experience. Our server, who also happened to be the bartender, was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The service was impressively quick, ensuring we were well taken care of.
For starters, we tried the Fry Calamari, which was quite enjoyable. However, the highlight was the quick and efficient service.
When it came to the main dishes, there were some hits and misses. The Lobster Roll left something to be desired as it was a bit bland. On the plus side, it came with a side of excellent Fries and an okay Coleslaw.
The Blackened Fish Tacos lacked the spice and flavor one might expect, while the Shrimp Po Boy was good but unfortunately overcooked.
In summary, Catch Oyster Bar offers a nice ambiance, a friendly server, and quick service. While some dishes missed the mark in terms of flavor, the overall experience was positive, thanks in part to the attentive service.
So, when I saw that Catch had a Lobster roll for 40 bucks, I said this thing better be good. Otherwise, you know I was coming on here to say a few words. Though I had a feeling it would be, considering I’ve eaten there before, and it’s always been good. Not to mention really cool staff.
Well, they did not disappoint! I bought three rolls and each of them were perfect! Big, delicious chunks of lobster all warm, buttery and perfectly cooked on just the right roll. A nice side of chips that were crispy and tasty with a pickle to round it off which was great. Well done, Catch!
I’ll be back before summers over!
I also love the oysters and clams casino that I’ve had in past visits.
The beer selection is great and the staff very friendly and professional.
I’m from Tennessee, up here for work and was lucky to find where the locals eat and drink.
