First time ever getting a 2 piece fish plate. It is absolutely the best fish and hush puppies I have ate! 10/10 recommend eating here. I will be making this one of my places to eat regularly. Staffing was absolutely the sweetest.

It took 10 minutes for the waitress in the front to acknowledge me and seat me, and another 15 minutes to finally come and take my order. It was not very busy. The food came out absolutely amazing and would go back for it.

All the burgers are smash steak burgers. Would probably get a double next time since they are so thin, but they are very good. Nice atmosphere, there’s a bar area in the back and to the right of the front door, a rolled ice cream counter. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The wait time for food wasn’t long at all. The food is served on metal trays, which adds to the fun of the place. There are tons of memorabilia on the walls, with a few tvs.

We were excited to find a gluten free option and excited they had what they called fried chicken tenders. Unfortunately they are using frozen chicken which seems to be from Walmart. Kid sized pieces like about 2 chicken nugget size and you get 4 whole pieces for 14 dollars. I ordered my husband a double knowing he would want more than 4 chicken strips (which we all know the size of a chicken strip these are about half of that) so we spent 28 dollars on 8 frozen nuggets and fries. Not good at all. I don’t recommend them for gluten free and this meal should be priced for children. The staff was very nice.

The first thing I found bad was the chairs was extremely uncomfortable. Then the fries were just slightly above room temperature, the meat was cold with most being not cooked not undercooked but not cooked at all.
Thanks for the food poisoning didn’t even eat it but 1 fry and 1 bite of the raw burger that I split out.
Maybe that’s the reason for the name.
