My sister and I randomly stumbled across Catalpa when we were exploring Arrow Rock. I have to say we weren’t disappointed. We ordered a double pepperoni pizza to try. It was absolutely delicious! The ratio of sauce to cheese to crust was perfect. You could tell the sauce was homemade and the cheese had a great pull. The service was great as well. They were extremely friendly. I highly recommend checking out Catalpa.

I’ve eaten here a few times and I’m never disappointed. The place was packed but the food still comes out quickly, the service and atmosphere is friendly; and the food is extraordinary.

There is seating outdoors in the front, indoor seating, and a covered porch in the back for diners as well.

Every pizza has a unique taste and every slice is packed with flavor.

It was delicious and worth experiencing once. We only had appetizers and a mixed drink, they were all delicious but bring your wallet. Just know that you’re spending a bit to keep this small business in an even smaller town open. Keep up the good work!

Absolutely wonderful meal from start to finish. Our table had the duck, swordfish and filet mignon entrees and all were delicious. All entrees were creatively and perfectly prepared. I would say this could be a destination restaurant, worth traveling to Arrowrock just for the restaurant, although the Lyceum Thester was also wonderful.

We decided to eat at Catalpa after attending a local event. Turns out, this is a great idea!

We were fortunate that we went when we did because the restaurant filled up quickly. The service was excellent even though they were packed.

I had the Santa Fe burger and the spicy pickles and onions for the side. My wife and son shared the three cheese pizza.

The food took time coming, but I don’t hold that against them. At times, it was standing room only.

The burger came on a flat bread style bun. The meat filled the bread completely, and I truly enjoyed the jalapeños and the sauce. The pickles were crunchy and delicious with a mild heat.

The pizza was the star of the show with, almost, cartoon like strings of cheese stretching from the slices. The flavors were amazing, and the little touch of honey came through while you ate.

Crispy, chewy, creamy, sweet, there aren’t enough adjectives to describe this pizza.

It’s a little pricy at $25 for the pizza, but it’s absolutely worth it.

The food is second to none. The flavors of every dish tie in perfectly, the portions are very generous even for a big boy such as myself. You will not leave hungry. Staff was very friendly took great care of us. Did I mention the food!! Every dish is a flavor adventure that will leave you wanting more. Cannot say enough good things about this establishment.

Much to fancy for me and you pay for that! Took about 15 minutes to order because the menu was pretty strange, tried to taste a little bit of everything. Fries were ok but not the best I have ever had, the cheeseburger was nothing special either, the pizza loaf was blah! The place is very cute but I didn’t leave satisfied. The staff was amazing very polite and helpful! Ohhh and fyi Everyone who comes here takes pictures with there golden toilet.

I was not fortunate to hear about this place or try this place prior to COVID. Due to COVID making us get some cabin fever we have been branching out to visit new places. Boy am I stoked we tried here. The service was nice. The location is cute and the food is AMAZING. Yeah they are burgers made out of beef, turkey, chicken or fish. But they process a whole cow to make their burgers! Who does that?! And the buns are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Worth a drive to sit outside and enjoy nature. The one positive COVID has taught me. There is life outdoors and away from the big cities.

I think most of the customers order pizza here, but they have sandwiches and salads, too. They have really interesting beverages. The decor is very unique, and definitely one of the highlights of the restaurant—that includes the restroom, too. Service is very polite and prompt.
