I was actually pretty bummed after eating here. I have heard so many good things that my husband and I decided to finally try it out… and it was just not good. The young girl putting our food together had on one glove and was using both her hands to play on her phone, run the register, messing with her hair and also building burgers and salads with her hands all in the food.. I just didn’t see a reason for the glove at that point. My husband got a chicken sandwich which was pretty good, and also got the corn nuggets which are hard to find at restaurants these days. I got a regular salad with fried chicken. Unfortunately my salad had a few black worms in them. Alive and well, I think they were inch worms. And then the whole bottom of the container was full of water… the salad just wasn’t edible. We will likely never go back in the future.

We were frequent patrons of Catalina Grill when their location was by the trailer park. They moved to the gas station and this was our first time trying them at that location.
As always the food is fresh and cooked to order. The prices are great for the portions of food. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwhich is one of my favorites around anywhere.
The only thing that could be improved is adding salt to the fries after they are cooked but they do include salt in a packet if you ask.
The atmosphere is nothing fancy, it’s inside a gas station. There’s a few booths but it’s still a little crowded in there at times.

Loved their burgers! They were cooked to perfection and everything that came on it was just as good. The lady who was working there was quick and friendly. She had her timing down pat.
The place needs a new coat of paint and some touch ups but the food and prices make up for it.
Would suggest updated take out menus to be available.

This is one of the best places to eat. Everything on the menu is delicious. We used to eat there three to four times a week when we lived around the corner. Now we drive there from Kings Mountain. Rico in my opinion is the best cook around. Prices are so reasonable its crazy. I know for a fact some people eat there every day. People drive from all over to eat at Catalinas. Please try them, you will not regret it. Place is nothing fancy, Just great food. Rico, you and your helpers are all the Best!!
