The seating is outdoors under a large tiki hut. The Rueben corn beef sandwich and Russian dressing is excellent! The wife loved a bucket of crawfish with potatoes and corn on the cob. Great live music

Cat Scratch Kitchen is a half outdoor half indoor kitchen/bar (in combination with Voodoo Hut) on the south side of the Kemah Boardwalk. The atmosphere, decent menu, and quality cocktails makes it easy to recommend.

The food itself is above average for bar food. While nothing stands out as amazing, there are some unique selections like crawfish Mac and cheese balls or habanero mozzarella sticks.

One of the best reasons to visit is the outdoor patio area. There is plenty of space away from the noise if want a quiet place to relax and talk. There are games like pool and cornhole as well.

We have ordered pizza from Cat Scratch several times since the beginning of the year. When they were at Voo Doo hut, the pizza was hot, fresh, and delicious. Since they moved to the Monkey Bar, it is absolutely disgusting. The last 3 pizzas that we have ordered from them have been burned, and the crust is impossible to eat. The middle of the pizza is chewy at best and tough at worst. It’s just plain gross. I don’t know why it became so bad after changing locations, but I won’t be spending my money there until they get their act together. I have included a pic of some of what we received. Our staff ate what they could as it was paid for by our company, but a lot went in the trash. Waste of money!

Great fresh food, very reasonable pricess, ample portions, wonderful indoor space with live music as well as outdoor seating & patio games (fun lights, heat lamps, great vibe). The additional outside kitchen made the air smell sooo good. They really put a lot of thought into everything! Beautiful sunset view over the boats too!

Ashley & Alyssa were very attentive and knowledgeable. Really awesome service! I have a peanut allergy & they use peanut oil to fry but I was able to get canola oil instead because they were very helpful. Best tartar sauce ever haha and loved the spicy mozz sticks as they were actually spicy Would definitely be back ☺️

Food was so good, and I forgot to take a picture of the home fries. The games, music and staff were wonderful and very family-friendly.

Best food on the Boardwalk. The Pizza is amazing. Mini Corn Dogs are awesome! Not much on the menu I don’t like.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the once bar/club Voodoo Hut go into the kitchen bar scene. It’s a split of indoor outdoor so seating is ample but if you plan on staying in the cool AC the seating is limited. The food is great, it’s almost like elevated bar food but done very well. Fried pickles are locally made and come in surprisingly great flavors. Sandwiches are sized very well and loaded. Only complaint was the oversalted fries but that’s a small detail that did not overshadow the meal overall. Super casual atmosphere in a fun area, definitely recommend.

Went for lunch on a holiday. Not crowded, really nice patio with strong fans which kept it tolerable on a hot day! Also surprisingly clean bathrooms.

Service was a bit slow but waitress was great when she was around. Ate mostly appetizers and they were all pretty great. Only thing that was disappointing was the fish tacos (and the waitress quickly offered to take them off the bill which I didn’t even expect). Looking forward to checking this place out when it’s safe to party again!

To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. We were loyal followers when CSK was at Voodoo and even met the owner a few times; however, we ordered food from CSK since we were across the street at Palapa listening to live music. We ordered a 20″ pizza and the Cuban sandwich. The pizza was extremely undercooked. Think spaghetti sauce on top raw dough. The Cuban sandwich came with chips and the chips were extremely oily and tasted like they were cooked in rancid oil. The sandwich was something that a child made and extra heavy on the mustard. We took a couple of bites and threw the rest away. These 2 items were close to $50 and definitely not worth $10. I rather eat a gas station hot dog.

My friends enjoyed the crawfish and fixin’s very much. My chicken fingers were a bit overcooked. The gravy subpar, the toast tasted stale. The french fries were very good and hot, though. The atmosphere was very nice.
