Happened to be in St. Pete for the evening and was craving some good seafood. As the name would indicate, this is a casual spot. Food was good, and the bartender was awesome. I recommend the smoked fish dip, the blackened shrimp (generous portion) and the key lime pie. I’ll be back to try more of the menu next time. Live music by Liz Adam’s helped set a perfect Friday evening vibe.

So we decided to try out a new spot for lunch. Great location, we pulled right in. They have an indoor and then you walk through and it’s a cool little outdoor bar area with tables high tops and even have outdoor benches seafood selection was fantastic. Very reasonable in price each got a beer. They have TVs over the bar and just a very chill, casual seafood restaurant with not having to pay. High-end prices. I ordered the fish and chip nuggets, and my partner ordered the fish and chips. It’s basically the same thing they just cut the fish and chips into smaller nuggets. It was a codfish. It was probably the best fish and chips we’ve ever had not greasy lightly battered, amazing flaky codfish. Can’t wait to try other items on their menu. Service was good again I’m not sure how it is at night but we were there at 2pm And there was some people, but nothing really packed or crowded. Definitely recommend this place for a very cool local seafood restaurant. Plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant. It’s literally on the corner so you’ll see it no matter where you’re coming from.

Great food! Great place to watch sports. Easy parking. The bad: The menu says the Fisherman’s Platter comes with French fries, onion rings, and 2 sides. The waitress said “it comes with 2 additional sides, which ones do you want?” I said it comes with fries and onion rings and she said “it does. You get 2 more.” I selected bread and potato salad. There was a nowhere mentioned $4.50 additional charge on top of the $57 market price for the platter on check. We were told “oh, we now charge for certain sides…” not acceptable. The staff should be trained to tell customers about any additional charges.

Watch for live pea crabs in your oysters. We have had them several times in different oysters here. I’ve heard it means the oysters are fresh. But I still don’t want to eat one! Great clam chowder!!

We always have an amazing time at the Casual Clam Seafood Bar & Grill in St. Pete! The clam strips were absolutely delicious, and the Ipswich full belly clams were perfectly prepared. We also tried the littleneck clams and oysters on the half shell — all fresh and flavorful. What really stood out was how welcoming they always are to our dog, Oso — the very first thing they did is bring him a bowl of water. Great food, friendly service, and pet-friendly too. Love this place!

A neighborhood casual seafood restaurant that has been there many years that serves delicious food. Tables outside and some inside. It’s a laid back vibe visited by locals.
The fried food was cooked perfectly by Kenny. Light batter. Had the grouper sandwich and it was 2 large pieces. I recommend stopping and enjoy the great selection of platters and sandwiches. Very low prices too!

We have been enjoying this spot for years. Service is constantly good. Food fresh and hot. Clam soup and Gumbo mixed is great. Popcorn shrimp onion rings are my go to. Plenty of choices. Go enjoy time out both your crew.

This place was fantastic. Quick service with a smile. Food was delicious, portions just right. Parking was easy. Atmosphere was comfortable, casual, and family friendly. Good music playing at just the right volume and looks to be a nice full bar as well if you’re just looking to dine alone.
