We had lunch instead of the Dim Sum – appetizers plus menu. I thought the menu had plenty of options and both the Dumplings and Cold Noodles were very good. Our lunches came with good portions and were decently flavored – not the best, but far better than many places I have eaten at in Cincy. I really wanted to try the soup (a table next to ours had it), but I was too full. The service was fast and very friendly.

Been there a few times now, all for dim sum. Their dim sum is the best u can get in Cincinnati. Other restaurants that also offer dim sums are uncle yips, daos, and grand oriental.
Bon offer decent selections, my favorite is the chive dumplings and braised chicken feet.
Price is normal, probably looking around 10-15 per person depending on how much u eat.

Love the food, but every time we call for delivery driver is never available for lunch or dinner. Our only order they delivered to home was $50, and excellent, but driver told me 4.1 miles was too far. Told everyone at work about how great food was, and every time we have called they say too busy too deliver…disappointed I gave them rave reviews to my friends. Might be a good idea to add to menu a delivery radius, and note that delivery guy picks and chooses when and where he goes. Lost my business!

My pregnant wife was starving for any form of Chinese food so I started looking on Google Maps for any form of Chinese food possible. I found Bons Chinese, and I thought to myself “alright we’re goin there.”
The service was great, the portions were healthy, the atmosphere was clean, and the food was delicious. I wholeheartedly suggest this restaurant to anybody who enjoys friendly staff and delicious food at a fair price. Don’t be afraid to order a $13 meal, the meals are huge!!!

If I could give less than one star I would!! Their service is TERRIBLE!! Food quality is sub par. Went for lunch buffet it was cold and appeared as though it was leftovers from the previous day!!
I work close to the restaurant and on several occasions I was treated as though I was burdening them by being there. I went recently at lunch time. Only to find the server sleeping at a table. Unable to wake him, I left. Then only to return a few weeks later and to have the owner completely ignore me for over 15 min. No acknowledgement of me standing less than 5 feet away. He walked to the back, never to return.I have never dealt with such rude people !! No thank you !!

Go with the single-sheet menu for Chinese, not the menu book. No offense to Americanized Chinese food, but they are really so not authentic and you don’t go for such an authentic place for those kinds of food. Go for the spicy food too, they are prepared by chefs originally from Sichuan and taste great. Definitely five star – not only because it’s in Cincinnati 😉

Bon’s has the best Chinese food that I’ve ever had! I recommend the beef and broccoli and the chicken lomein. The vegetables are always fresh and not wilted! I travel from where I live in Mt.Orab, Ohio to Montgomery in order to get Bon’s and it’s well worth the drive.

My family usually stop by a good chinese restaurant on our way back home. Heard that there are authentic Chinese cuisine in the area . We tried it out and was disappointed . service was bad the Chinese food is not as good as what they described it . The dimsum was not as good as the original one that we taste in hong kong .

I hate leaving low star ratings for small businesses that are maybe struggling. Maybe they are going through renovations, but this place does not look like the pictures… The lobby was very dirty and the table tops looked like they hadn’t been cleaned all day. The food portions were extremely small for the price we paid. This was a to go order seeing as the restaurant area was clearly closed.
