We stopped here for lunch on our way to San Simeon. I customized the classic tacos and added rice, beans, guacamole and flaming hot Cheetos and they were so delicious. The hot sauce was so good. The service was fast and the server was kind and considerate. Glad that we stopped here!

The changes made to the restaurant are nice. The iconic painted skateboards are still on the wall and they got rid of their space mural but they put a bar in its place. I heard they had burgers so my hubby and I had to come to check em out. They didn’t disappoint. I got the Surf and Turf which has shrimp and my husband got the Serrano Burger. I love the seasoning of both the shrimps and patty. I appreciate them putting the veggies on the side. And there’s fries hiding under the veggies. The burgers are big!! My husband said that the Serrano Burger is spicy which he loves. I wanted to post the new menu since it’s not present on this review site. Very delicious food. I recommend everything on the menu. I haven’t been disappointed.

The atmosphere is great, the skateboard art and wall art is amzing. The food is delicious. The deep fried shrimp tacos are the best!! The bowls are a good amount of food. The Serrano sauce is my absolute favorite. And hands down the Mango shrimp salad is the best Salad in town.

Guacamole was fresh and the salsa was spicy and a different texture than most. Love the traditional double tortilla and the choice of sauces. A bit cramped and I’m not sure about sanitation grades in California. But I would go again.

Stopped by this nice little spot. The fish tacos were huge and delicious in the Baja style. We also got a surf and turf plate. It was delicious and probably could have fed two!

I’m giving this place all stars, the food fresh and tasty , why get fast food at chain restaurants when you can get fresh and fast if you gotta take it out. Super friendly young fellas that greets you with a smile,(single ladies you would like) polite and repeated the order as he was entering it. Asked specific questions, “red or green sauce on the side or inside the burrito “, why not do both! They earned a big tip and they were fast! Hot tasty burritos ( the classics) deserved 5 stars just for being delicious . Defiantly come back next time I’m traveling through on 101 since I didn’t have time for the cold beer or $5 margaritas! Castro you got a good thing going!

So glad we stopped here while passing by. The shrimp tacos were delicious and unlike anything we’ve tried. Your Moms Wedding Fries was a favorite of the group with so different ingredients there was something for everyone. The Mango Aquachile had great flavor and was full of shrimp. Glad we tried the tritip melt on available of certain days because it was tender and full of meat. We’ll be back.

Addendum to first review – food is still AWESOME. Service… not so much. There was literally ONE customer in store when I entered and was told 20-25 minutes for my order. I understand they do lots of call in pickups but jeez it’s Friday night. I’ve been here four times now and each experience gets a little worse. And EVERY TIME there has been no soap/paper towels in the restroom. At least the toilet flushes?

Ordered the Fish n Shrimp burrito bowl, flavor was excellent and well proportioned. My wife ordered the mango salad and enjoyed it. The food tends towards the spicy side which I loved but be sure to ask for sauce on the side if you don’t like spicy. The Baja sauce is a safe option if you don’t like sauce.

Had the shrimp taco Baja style and it was delicious. Service was a bit slow but they did communicate that right upfront that it would take a bit to come out. That in itself was very much appreciated. Worth a stop if you find yourself anywhere near there.
