We had appetizers and cocktails which included Tostones w/ garlic sauce and a side of Guacamole. I also ordered the spicy Pork Empanada and my friend had the Fish Taco. The cocktails ( Corona and Mango Margarita) hit the spot! This family owned restaurant has been servicing the Clinton Hill community for decades. Run, don’t walk if you like some delightful Mexican food!

I’ve tried a lot, A LOT of Mexican spots in the area and this has been my fave hands down. Variety of spicy salsas, veggie options, and authentic styles. Only knocked one star because I think the prices are a bit high for the area. But will say portion size is really generous.

Was great as usual but the atención was a bit lacking like no chips and salsa offered while we waited. Never asked if we wanted dessert or just ask if everything was okay and never got the check we needed to walk towards the cashier and ask for it. A bit lacking in the service department.

I asked for two orders of cheese flautas one with additional rice and beans. The menu description says they are topped with fried beans, sour cream and cotija cheese and a side salad. Not what I got. I got 3 bland, naked cheese flautas! NOTHING ON IT!! no salad, no fried beans and sour cream! I am disappointed. I order from here all the time!!! Never again.

Ordered 6 simple soft tacos, lady said it would be ready in 10 min. It took more than 30 minutes. Also didn’t like that they did other customers orders who came after me first (at least 4). They also raised the price of tacos by $1 from the previous week and now they come with less toppings. I can’t picture myself paying $5 for their taco. The tacos were delicious though.
