We ate downstairs in the pub on a Tuesday. We had the spinach artichoke dip during happy hour. For appetizers I had the Crab Brie bisque and my wife had the Gouda Fries; both were good. I had the Ahi Tuna special on rice and my wife had the Prime Rib special. Both meals were good. For dessert we had the Mile High Banana Pie; all bananas!

This review is for our pub experience only. We did a review on Open Table about the sit down restaurant.
Upon walking in the head bartender and waitress welcomed us. We had gotte n there rigbt after they were open so we were the only people there. We were asked if we knew what we wanted. ( we didn’t take this question to be odd because it’s a bar and eatery downstairs) My wife asked if they had a certain kind of drink and they did so she ordered it. As the gentleman was making the drink were talked about our visit and about where he was from. He had a really cool story about his life on the go as a bartender and all the places he has been. One of those places was not far from where we live.
We ended up ordering a few- what they call “small plates” , we called them appetizers. We had the chicharrones, flatbread pizza, gouda fries which were all really good. Then for dessert, a mile high cream banana cream pie and a southern seasonal blueberry cobbler a la mode. As Guy would say on DDD it was flavortown.
Lots of jokes/puns were told and as new guest arrived throughout our visit the jokes never got old….

This was so close to a 5 star experience. My husband and I were here for Valentines Day. The dining area was beautiful and so romantic .Our server Ashley was phenomenal. So friendly and attentive. They have a vast wine selection..The roasted red pepper soup, duck, gnocchi, spinach, lemon merigue pie, and fingerling potatoes were all delicious. I ordered the prime filet and it was not cooked correctly. They did mostly correct it but it just had an ok taste, nothing great about it. The filet was the only reason that I couldn’t give 5 stars , so I would definitely come back and try this beautiful place again..

The dining room was very nice with great service. The food was very good. The Godchaux Salad was exceptional. The Prime Rib was very good along with the Shrimp & Grits. Everyone was wonderful. When we go backto Natchez we will definitely eat here again.

We had a fantastic time at brunch! Several of my sorority sisters were in town for the Natchez Balloon Festival, coming from Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas to stay with a local sister and catch up. For many of us, it was our first time at the festival, and a few of us wrapped up the weekend with a delightful brunch at the Castle Restaurant. The food was amazing, and our server was incredibly sweet and accommodating. It was the perfect way to end a wonderful weekend of reconnecting and making new memories.

We made reservations from out of state weeks in advance for an anniversary dinner. We were seated in the back corner with three walls around us. My husband stared at a brick wall the entire time. We were the only ones in the section. No other tables in the corner. The food was good and the service was good but the table was horrible. No one wants to seat at a table like this in a fancy restaurant. Atmosphere is half the experience and this table ruined a special night we can’t get back. Tried to post a picture here and it won’t let me

Miranda and Ricky are wonderful servers with great personalities and stories. Happy hour $5 sliders were filling alongside the $5 spinach dip with pita chips. There was plenty of good food in the upscale bar.

Enjoyed our dinner there, great old castle atmosphere…
Service was excellent, food was very good. Especially recommend the fried green tomatoes! My husband was disappointed with his rabbit so I can’t recommend that.
Breakfast was very good.
Would eat there again.
