We drove an hour and 20 mins on Valentine’s Day to make our reservation and we admittly were late. They are not directly off the highway and war tucked deep in town. We didn’t realize how busy it would be. They were packed! Staff was very friendly. We were seated in a corner that felt away from everyone else and I didn’t mind because it felt private. Lights were low and gave it a romantic atmosphere . A live saxophone player played loved songs through the night. It felt very intimate. The menu was different than their online menu. I exspected specials but not a whole different menu. I spent half the ride going over the menu and deciding what I wanted, none of which was on this menu. It took a long time for someone to take our order and when they did we were informed that wait time for food was longer than expected. I was okay with that because it meant that they were cooking food food fresh and to order. I do believe it was busier than they anticipated. There were many miscommunications and mishaps and it was acknowledged through apologizeies which I appreciate but I do hope they learn how to manage better for the future. The food tasted delicious, hot and fresh. All in all I do recommend giving them a try. We went on a busy night but the food was great.

Very disappointed. Nachos were tiny and the barbacoa was not good, quesadillas were extremely dry and salty, queso was alright but only came with a handful of chips. Street corn was okay. Cassava balls were good. Cocktails were atrocious though our waitress was nice enough to take them off the bill. I’m sad to write a negative review of this place, because when they opened they were great – the original nachos alone were better than everything here, and much bigger.

I enjoy that it’s never been packed with people when I’ve visited on different times and days. The food is always fresh and delicious. The drinks / cocktails have been on point as well. I love their margarita flights. Good service and it has an intimate vibe. Family friendly. Beautiful outdoor setting with a view. The inside decor has a vintage castle feel. Nice photo ops. My favorite dish are the shrimp filled plantain cups.

A unique building that could use a really good cleaning–half dead plants in the windows alongside cobwebs, dingy. Very spacious interior, furniture looks worn and in need of a cleaning. Had a gift card, so decided to give it a try. Took a little bit to get seated, only 1 other couple seen in dining area. Apps were good, beef queso and chicken wings–both very tasty. Ordered Paella Del Mar for our meal, which had good flavor and the smallest of seafood that can be found in the ocean–tiny clams, tiny scallops, the shrimp was regular sized. Served piping-hot, as seafood lovers, slightly disappointed about how small the “Del Mar” part of paella was. For dessert, the churros were probably some of the best we’ve ever had, the fried ice cream was delicious, too!
This restaurant could be really special, I believe. Definitely unique, charming, and very spacious. Could also really use a revamp or a remodel. Such a beautiful building and scenic location, lacking in “Wow” to want to make a repeat visit.

I picked this place for a girls night dinner and we were extremely eager to see what this castle was about. Well… it’s more of a dungeon with the experience we had.

We purchased the Dinner for 2 for $99. Our queso was literal water. You could see the oil separating, it was just disgusting. We ordered Balitas as one of our Tapas… I would describe it as a cake pop texture, with maybe cheese? Maybe potato? No clue what was inside because all I could taste was the nasty and basic dressing it was smothered in.

Charcuterie was brown grapes and hard meat, truly how can you mess this up? Empanadas were good, I’ll give them that! My sangria I am convinced was a cold glass of Pinot Noir with fruit in it, disgusting.
Asked for our churros to go, they came to the table and were ICE cold.

Overall super bummed at what we thought was going to be a vibe of a dinner. Skip it and go to Taco Bell tbh.

Prepare to be let down. I have been wanting to try this place for months. Tapas, drink flights, and a castle! What could be better for girls night?!

We spent $100 on the dinner for 2. Birria queso came to the table before charcuterie…It was water. I’ve never seen anything served like that. Moe’s or On the Border wouldn’t have served that. When I showed the server, she said, “ok let me go ask.” Go ask what? She returns after the entree to let us know they cannot remake it because all of the queso is like that tonight. I’m not a chef, but hey, maybe a little flour and a sprinkle of cheese might save us all an awkward situation.

I wish it got better, but it didn’t. You get the gist. Consistently terrible all around. I didn’t take photos bc the night was disappointing enough.

This place is FUN. dinner in a castle? yes! excellent atmosphere and service. the food was disappointing though. it is bold to have paella on the menu so we thought they knew what they were doing… but the seafood was definitely frozen and it was not cooked with the rice, which was is standard. the mussels and clams in our dish were cold while the rice was scalding hot. For the price point ($36), we expected much much more. next time will just stop in for a cocktail.

From walking in from the parking lot to tapas to leaving – this is a must hit location when in the area. Flaming margaritas, flights, tapas – beginning to end this is a memorable experience. The atmosphere is unique being in a castle setting – standard mexican music playing in the background. The food came fresh and hot – ordering several tapas to give a nice selection. The nachos are flavorful and the emanadas were crisp yet filling.

I saw a short video of this place on TikTok and it piqued my interest so my husband and I went to check it out for ourselves. While we loved the aspect of dining in a castle, the food was just ok and the service was sparse. Our server and others were professional and polite. We most likely won’t go back, but are still glad we went.

Went on a Friday at 2pm, it was dead but the food was absolutely the best Mexican food I’ve had in Massachusetts thus far, I’m from Texas. The quesabirria with consumme were very rich and flavorful. The margarita flight tastes fresh, and the churros were perfect with 2 dipping sauces and generous coating. Great views and very clean place. I will definitely be back.
