Dominican breakfast doesn’t include plantain, which is usually part of the breakfast. There’s room for little improvement, but overall really good place.
Shout out to Rony during our visit, and thanks to Liliana for the two times we saw her too.
Prices are a little high in a few places in this area.
**update** Hi Michael! I was not made aware of the herbal tea infusions at all during the visits, as was told no tea served ♀️. That’s good to know though .
I’m changing my review due to our dinner visit and last breakfast visit, and the Paella for two with the half lobster on top… each, was soooooo delicious ! For the price, you can’t wrong.
Paella for two was DOP2800… I think total, so great for the price!!!
Special thanks to Rony for the amazing service — professional, friendly and very attentive the whole time. In fact, we came back to the restaurant because of him. Also congratulations to Chef Lubin for preparing such an incredible seafood platter. Definitely a place we will return to.
He ordered the ribeye medium (almost 45 CAD). It first came out very well done. We sent it back, and the second time it came back completely rare. At that point he couldn’t eat it, so we took it home and cooked it for breakfast next morning.
I ordered the Cajun chicken Caesar and the chicken was extremely dry and very salty—almost inedible.
For the price, you can find much better food in the same neighborhood.
Service: service was very good, Waitresses were efficient and professionnal. They spoke English fairly well. The service was fairly fast as more people were arriving.
My wife and I ordered omelets. Very tasty and thick with sausage, bacon and veggies. They added one piece of toast (they could have put 2 pieces of toast).
Cappuccinos were creamy and hot. Prices are reasonable ($43 CDN for 2 omelets and 4 cappuccinos)
Overall, a good experience this morning.
The food was ok. For the price we had some really great food, in fun places. This was…fine. For the money it was….ok.
You eat near a busy street. Some tour seller were very friendly and asked us to buy. We declined and they were very nice, then they say and chatted with us for a bit. They were nice, but it felt unusual.
We had some great meals. I would skip this place.
