The food was amazing, and the service was great! Filled with locals and we can see why! Atmosphere is chilled, and the staff super is friendly and attentive. They can accommodate somewhat large parties and limited outdoor seating with corner hole underneath a couple of palm trees. Prices were very reasonable! Again, the food tastes fresh and perfectly seasoned. We didn’t get the desserts but they sounded wonderful. No more room. This place a gem. Avoid the tourist traps on the beach and stop by Castaways

Wow. This local haunt is the bomb. Great seafood! Located just off l-10 in Bonifay, Florida, this place offers a chopped salad, grits, & fries along a variety of signature dishes. While the location may seem sketchy, its not!!! The staff & management are super-southern friendly and “Johnny on the spot” to meet your needs. Did I mention the tap water was delicious? Travelers on I-10 west of Tally! THIS IS YOUR LUNCH SPOT!

We loved it! Definitely try this place out. After a week in the beach towns of Pensacola, this place really blew everyone away. The price and portions were right. Everything was fresh and tasty. Loved the steamer! Definitely enough for 2 people. Not spicy at all, so we spooned some out and spiced it to each of our flavor taste. Onions rings, cheese curds, shrimp cocktail, and chicken tenders were all good. After all this the prices were on point. Would recommend and return.

I had grouper Fingers and they were delicious. Cheese grits and bean were good also. One small drawback was a little more oil frying smell than it seemed like it should be. It is tucked behind the gas station with not a very big sign so you have to be looking.

Service is above 5 stars!!! Friendly! Kind. Waitress came to the table more than twice. All the staff was friendly. This is rare. The food was fantastic!! I’m definitely going back telling all my friends. Easy parking. We arrived at 10:45 they opened at 10:30. Beautiful lady even opened the door for us!! Wow. Try the desserts!! We had coffee and it was delicious. My mom said best lemonade!! Try it for yourself!!

I got day two piece fried catfish plate with cheese , grits and baked beans. My fish was not done on the inside, i did not like the baked beans, the grits and the hush puppies were o k. In my opinion not worth the trip. They were very busy but the waitress never checked to see if I needed anything at all.

How did I not know about this place smh. The food is phenomenal as well as the service. Everyone that works there checks on you to make sure you are good and your drinks are never empty. The portions are amazing for the price and good oh my. Definitely family friendly. We will be going again to try something else on the menu

The food is extremely good and they have a bigger menu than when I last came about 3 years ago. Boat trash is always a hit with my husband. All fried and some of everything. I had the blackened fish poboy. The shrimp is better than the bigger places on the beach.

I knew this place would be excellent when I saw 3 trucks with fishing boats in the parking lot and boy was I right!! This is the best seafood I’ve ever had. The batter for the fried food was phenomenal and the garlicky butter was beyond amazing. I got the boat trash and everything was so good and the portion was huge. The crab claws totally stole the show though!! I had never seen crab claws prepared like that and hot damn they were out of this world! We asked for half fried half sauteed and that was the best decision I’ve made all year. I couldn’t tell which I liked more, they were both heavenly. Service was great and everyone was super nice. Food came out really quickly and hot and fresh. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, this is a must-stop place to eat. It’s kind of difficult to see from the road, but my gps told me where to turn anyway.
