Food was good, service was good, place looks nice… The portions I ordered the San Felipe Fries, I can only say that Twenty Nine Palms gives a ton more in serving size when it come to the San Felipe Fries.
Yeah I was disappointed in the serving size.
But I might come back. Yeah the cashier guy was cool, the Mexican cooks looked at me like they’ve never seen another brown person in years…
Other than that, I will only recommend this spot if it’s a must have, like there’s no other Mexican Restaurant you can find.
I asked for extra sauce on the side, bro was gonna charge me. That wouldn’t of had happened at Twenty Nine Palms. Despite the fact that there this short little boy, that suffers from little man syndrome, who always thinks he’s tough, has tattoos, specifically a “Detroit D” on the side on his neck. The Twenty Nine Palms restaurant is always a good spot for me.
The asada meat was extremely salty to the point was not able to eat. I was to go so I found out till I got home about 15 mins away.
Not going back
Update: Recently freshness has improved slightly. Great food when it is fresh. Salsas are 5/5. Employees are great.
