Overpriced under delivered. Ordered the carne asada super nachos. Hardly anything on them. Sign at the drive thru says due to too many people complaining… you must present food and receipt for refund. Menu said $17.75…for nachos! Asked for jalapenos, total came to over $21! Hardly anything on them, won’t come back.

Food was good, service was good, place looks nice… The portions I ordered the San Felipe Fries, I can only say that Twenty Nine Palms gives a ton more in serving size when it come to the San Felipe Fries.

Yeah I was disappointed in the serving size.
But I might come back. Yeah the cashier guy was cool, the Mexican cooks looked at me like they’ve never seen another brown person in years…

Other than that, I will only recommend this spot if it’s a must have, like there’s no other Mexican Restaurant you can find.

I asked for extra sauce on the side, bro was gonna charge me. That wouldn’t of had happened at Twenty Nine Palms. Despite the fact that there this short little boy, that suffers from little man syndrome, who always thinks he’s tough, has tattoos, specifically a “Detroit D” on the side on his neck. The Twenty Nine Palms restaurant is always a good spot for me.

Usually, I don’t go against the reviews however my boyfriend and I had just moved out to 29 Palms and unloaded the Uhaul and was hungry. Google and found this 24-hour spot. For this place, reviews didn’t lie! It was 1 am and this place was the only place that was open other than Jack n Box. I ordered a chicken chimichanga. Should have known this wasn’t going to be good because we ordered through the drive-thru and by the time we got to the window and paid for the food we received our order 2 minutes later. My chimichanga was horrible! The presentation was ok but when I cut into it the chicken meat looked and tasted as if it came outta a can. Super soft tortilla gooey, and put fake guacamole and sour cream. My boyfriend had an asada burrito which he didn’t like and ended up throwing it all away 27 dollars wasted!!! If you like nasty food this is the place for you.

Consistently good food. Open 24/7. Not any kind of fancy food but usually his taste, seasoning and flavors. I enjoy coming here for a quick bite.

One of the only options open late. Food arrived promptly, and the drive thru was convenient. However, food quality was mediocre at best, and too highly priced for the lack of quality.

I like this place. Very tasty Mexican cuisine, reasonable prices (no longer the bargain it was years ago, prices have about doubled over the last 10 years), a clean facility, and the ubiquitous drive thru for those on the move. Recommended!

Should’ve listened to the review. Purchased 1 burrito, 3 tacos n 1 quesadilla for $43 I think is a bit expensive.
The asada meat was extremely salty to the point was not able to eat. I was to go so I found out till I got home about 15 mins away.
Not going back

The food is always delicious, and the restaurant is open 24 hours. Can’t really beat it except the fountain drinks are kind of pricy IMO and often taste flat or watered down. Carne asada burrito in photo.

GO TO THE ONE IN JOSHUA TREE INSTEAD.

Update: Recently freshness has improved slightly. Great food when it is fresh. Salsas are 5/5. Employees are great.

These days THIS LOCATION has food
That is always HARD AND DRY and seems like it has been left out for days.

I attached a video of the chicken …. It looks like jerky!

I’ve stopped coming to this location.
