We grab a bite before heading to the CV Firebirds game. Came to Castaneda’s ordered the rolled taco supreme, 4 beef tacos, #11 fish tacos rice/beans, kids meal. It took longer than expected to receive our food. The rolled tacos looked good. However, if you look closely, the lettuce is browning, and it is all lettuce. Absolutely no flavor in the guacamole, meat, & salsa. I am very disappointed in the quality of the food at this location.

Satisfactory, at best. Although my visit to this Castañeda’s was more than a year ago, I can recall having a decent lunch meal from here. It’s not flashy inside, it feels like you’re transported to a Mexican fast food restaurant from the 90’s with the way the dining area setup and menu boards. I settled for what they call the “Super Roll Tacos,” which are taquitos loaded with an assortment of toppings and salsa, along with an horchata. The service was relatively quick, the food was at a desirable temperature, and the drink was refreshing.

My visit here in 2023 was ok. The fish tacos were good, everything else was pretty bad. It was a late night and it was one of the only restaurants available and it somehow went under my overall expectations. At least the staff were not bad at the time.

Worst Mexican Food place I’ve ever tried! Over priced disgusting food! The carne asada fries were soggy and oily. The hard shell beef tacos were dripping a lot of oil as I bit into them. And the “Street tacos” were a disappointment. I would not recommend this place at all!!

This restaurant is one of the few that are open 24 hours. Very wide selection of Mexican food when you have the munchies at 3AM. My favorite so far is the Carne Asada Burrito which I highly recommend the first time you go there. There is also a great selection of salsa from which to pick from. Finally, they are very fast at making your order.

Worst experience I’ve ever had eating at a restaurant. We waited almost an hour for our food with no party waiting in-front of us. They served 2 larger parties with almost the same exact orders as us before us when they came in after us. We understand a mistake on placing the order cards in the wrong spot but at least a sorry would be nice. We expressed our feelings asking why the other parties who showed up after us were served before and the lady in the photo was very rude and stated “at least your food came out” very loudly in the restraint, no sorry or acknowledgement. She even spoke in Spanish to the other workers asking why they messed up thinking we would not understand. Will never be returning and if you what a positive experience neither should you.

I came back from a long trip starving, there was multiple cars in line but they weren’t taking anybody’s order, they were just sitting back on their phones laughing. The doors were locked and every sign was on (open), me thinking it was open but instead it looks like they don’t want to make any money or serve anybody. It wasn’t the first time and I’m also local. Ridiculous I recommend going to the Washington and Varner Castaneda 100% service satisfaction.

Stopped through as I seen it getting off the freeway and wanted something different. Food was good and ceviche tostadas was refreshing on this hot day.
ETA: Enjoyed food so much the first day of vacation went back the next day. Ordered the same ceviche Tostada and it looked and tasted different. No lime, Very dry, was very disappointed.

Guacamole is probably the worst I’ve ever had anywhere. Not sure if there is mayonaise, cream cheese or what’s in it, but definetly not much avocado, if any. Chicken torta was decent and the chips were warm. Quick and friendly service
