We ordered a pizza, chai tea and a turkey sandwich. For the good: the location is spot on. For the bad: pretty much everything else. The pizza may have been the worst slice of pizza I have had in the last decade. It should have been thrown out hours earlier, but they sold it to us anyways.
The tea was served so hot and was bitter. The person making the drinks didn’t k ow what they were doing, and it shows. This is on management/ I’m sure somebody called out sick and this person was clearly not trained. The result is a $6 drink that was not drinkable.
The turkey sandwich was very good, and is the only reason this isn’t one star. I wish the house made chips were less salty as they were not enjoyable.
All in all, I would bypass this place at all costs if there is a line. Pastries looked great- if you just went for a dessert, I think you would be happy.

Great pastries and lattes. Clean and bright inside. Outside there are small tables with great people watching. Don’t get a hot drink if you’re in a hurry. The service was pleasant enough but If they moved any slower they would be going backwards.

This counter order quick serve restaurant is a perfect grab and go off its more formal sister restaurant next door. They appear to even have some of the same items on the menu. I ripped into the Italian Hoggie and found it to be outstanding. The chocolate chip cookie was solid, and the latte decent.

I have no idea how people gave this place lower ratings. The baked goods at this spot are out of this world. The croissants are perfectly layered and baked to perfection. The service may be a bit slow sometimes when there is a huge line, but that is to be expected when there is only one or two people working. Always great food and coffee. The only negative note I could possibly make about the place is the atmosphere. They only have a bar seating at the window, and outdoor seating. In Florida summer, that is not ideal, but not unlike most people in the area.

Don’t waste $ on lattes, regular coffee, and drinks
They don’t even add shots in the lattes. It’s just syrup when you order iced latte. Literally, they just put syrups and milk since they don’t even use the coffee machine to make them.
I saw other clients throwing the drink, the next door restaurant is good; however, the market (drinks) is very disappointing.

I love this cute café! Right in the heart of Downtown, you get a pretty view of the pier, and of the town! The pastries are delicious and of great quality. The staff are super timely and kind. There are always several meal options- from cold / hot sandwiches / grilled cheese, to cheese and egg croissants, and some sweet pastries. Nothing but positive experiences when I come to visit Cassis! ☕️

Claudia, our waitress was simply awesome!
She was so friendly, professional, patient and went out of her way to make our visit pleasant. As we were celebrating a very early birthday, at midnight, actually, she even sang us the birthday song all by herself. She is beautiful and worthwhile asking for next time you visit this restaurant.
We sat outside and enjoyed our birthday celebration. Including the complementary dessert, thanks to Claudia. See pics.
The recommended grilled chicken salad was terrific though I seldom eat salads in restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Amazing pastries, croissants every bit as good as in paris (no joke) amd they’re bogo in the evenings. Staff are lovely. Its so lovely to have a proper European cafe in st pete. Slow down, catch your breath, st pete is a chill place. You want fast? Go to McDonald’s. You want amazing and local? Hit the cassis market.

Dolo winter trip to get warm and see the museums and ocean and art district. I stumbled upon Cassis the very first day. The Genovese pizza called to me, the cold pressed juices were wonderful blends. I came back and had a great scone. I then returned for pizza. There are MANY great places to eat in SP, but this was quality, quick and fair prices. Kudos.

I have had pizza here on many occasions. Today I had the Genovese with artichoke and sweet cherry tomatoes. One of the beat pizzas I’ve had in Florida.
All of their pizzas are outstanding. Great coffee and fresh locally made pastries are also very good.
Plenty of outside seating and counter seating inside.This is always my first stop when coming to St Pete.
