Located at Burnt Store Marina (gated), the place isn’t easy to reach but well worth the drive. For such a setting, the prices ( even post happy hour) are decent and their food is above average. Great steak and smash burgers. Bands on the weekends. As others have stated, the service is good but not exactly fast. We’d have probably gotten a couple of more drinks had they arrived faster.

A great open-air Marina Bar and Restaurant! It’s located within Punta Gorda Marina, which appears to be private from the outside. It’s a gated community but if you approach the security guard they will give you a free pass to go in and visit the restaurant and check the place out. We enjoyed the food! The atmosphere! And the service is very good also.

Mike C was a great waiter…very personable and engaging. The coconut shrimp basket was very good. I love that they switched to no seed oils and deep fry in tallow which is so much better for our health. Hubby had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo which he said was outstanding! The clam chowder was also one of the better ones I have had.Busy patio so we ate inside but the view was great! There was also live music tonight (Friday) and they were good. Of note…to get there…follow Google maps, it is within Burnt Store Marina, but you need to stop at the guard house and get a ticket to put in your window to get into the community. Will plan to return since we are here for a while.

Recent visit update. The service is terrible. We were there for about 4 hours for a live music event. Our server took our order for my daughter’s meal, the food took longer than what she told us, and she never came back to check on us. I did tell her when placing the initial order that I was going to want to order something for myself. She was helping every other table around us. Ended up asking another server for a couple of waters since our drinks were empty. You could see that he wasn’t happy with hearing that we weren’t being helped. I ended up not eating. Had to stop somewhere else after leaving. Shameful.
Nice view. Food is just okay. Be prepared to be bitten by noseeums once the sun goes down. Bring bug spray.

I was so looking forward to going here. For the Sunday brunch. It was not so great, but what did I expect for $12.99? The buffet looked terrible. All of the serving spoons were caked with food from all of the other foods. The tongs were chinsey and almost falling apart. It felt like slop.

The coffee was served in Styrofoam cups.

Our server was very nice and did a great job.

We will maybe go back sometime to order off the regular menu to give it one more try.

Someone commented that this restaurant started cooking with no seed oils and tallow “which was better for our health”. I’m looking up a restaurant on the water, I’m expecting seafood and if I order seafood, I expect only seafood. To be sure that’s what I’m going to get, I look up Tallow:
Wikipedia
Tallow is a rendered form of beef or mutton suet, primarily made up of triglycerides. In industry, tallow is not strictly defined as beef or mutton suet. In this context, tallow is animal fat that conforms to certain technical criteria, including its melting point. The solid material remaining after rendering is called cracklings, greaves, or graves. It has been used mostly for animal food, such as dog food.

On January 18, went for brunch and the buffet is not properly attended; bins were empty ( such as: eggs Benedict, bacon and chicken were gone) and refills on the buffet were slow. Bloody Mary’s went from $2 and raised the price to $9, quite a surprise. Hopefully they can improve and provide proper attention to the food trays. Love the view and wait staff service was fine.

We moved in as permanent residents last month and have been to Cass Cay a few times. This experience was the best by far. Great setting, great food, and great service. My wife had a Buffalo chicken sandwich, and the crunch of the breading was excellent. I had the meatloaf melt, and I don’t eat meat very often, but wow, great taste texture and so satisfying on marble rye. I’ll have it again for sure.
We look forward to walking over again soon!!

Omg. We stopped for the very first time to patronize this Restaurant. Being in the food service for many year’s I noticed the front landscape looking terrible and full of cigarettes butts. We walked into the Bar and the smell of stale beer was strong. We seated our selfs close to the windows, then my wife decided to use the Restroom. After returning she stated the Restrooms were disgusting, very Dirty!. We then decided best to leave. We can not believe a place a business can be kept or ran this way, being centered in a gated community! We will never return. Thought someone should know!!! Visted January 27, 2026

The New England clam chowder soup was good and the grouper fingers appetizer was good. I ordered the parmesan chicken with Alfredo. I couldn’t eat it. The chicken was over cooked and chewy and the Alfredo sauce tasted sour. I even had my brother and niece taste the Alfredo to see if it was me and they both spit it out!
