Husband and I are truckers who pick up loads from here. They give you free ice cream inside the warehouse and I got addicted to the birthday cake sandwich pops. Not a joke. I eat 5 boxes every 4 days… it’s so good. He’s not too happy lol.
It took 12 hours to load us though, that’s why I gave 4 stars. They said after 5 hours they were ready for us and we went to the bay only to wait another 7 in the pouring rain. Thankfully, we closed the reefer doors.
The owner owns soooo much land here, beautiful land. Cows that look insanely healthy and free on acres. Little rivers and ponds and a hiking trail. Not sure if it’s public or not so be careful and ask.
Easy to pull in, turn around and park with the truck. Staff was super friendly to us both times. They have a little ice cream shop with a drive thru window too—so cute.
I get so excited to take these loads. I’m almost positive I’m their #1 customer with the amount of ice cream I’ve purchased since getting the free samples. Idk how it’s so addicting but no other ice cream tastes like this. They use real ice cream too, no garbage ingredients.

I usually love this place, but quality control was off today. I ordered a 16 oz ‘Brownies on the Moon’ shake and found three distinct pieces of coconut in it. I used to have a deadly coconut allergy when I was younger, so finding this was really concerning. I don’t want anyone else to suffer a reaction because of an accident like this. If you have allergies, please be very careful and ask them to clean the blenders, as there seems to be cross-contamination with the scoops or equipment.

FatBoy ice cream sandwiches by Casper’s Ice Cream are next level! I’ve been hooked ever since I tried them, and now I grab a box every time I’m at the grocery store. The Birthday Cake flavor is easily my favorite—super creamy, full of that sweet cake batter flavor, and loaded with colorful sprinkles. Casper’s, a Utah-based company, really nailed it with these. You can tell they take pride in their quality. Even though they’re made in Utah, it’s awesome that you can find FatBoy bars in stores all across the country. A top-tier treat from a great company!

The people here are really friendly, and they even offer free ice cream if you’re picking up a load. There’s also a little malt shop on the other side of the shipping office, which is a nice bonus.

They have 2nds of ice cream sandwiches. 25 per box for $8 and $14 depending on the flavor. It varies daily. Bring a cooler to keep them frozen. They also have hard ice cream in cones or other choices. August special for every $10 spent you get a chance to try to throw a pompom ball into cups on the wall for prizes. Inside booths and outside tables with umbrellas. Good for a date or right after a game. They are right by the Cub river sports complex so that is convenient. The malt shop is on the west side of the factory. Take the second entrance. Signs are posted.

Love stopping by to get ice cream whenever we are passing through. Not sure if many places you can get a giant single scoop for under $1.50! Plus the flavors are usually top notch. The root beer float flavor is the best.

Kind of out of the way, but worth the trip. We each enjoyed a scoop of their hard packed ice cream and then took a couple boxes of Fat Boys seconds to enjoy at home. The seconds are definitely just that, “seconds”… so don’t expect regular Fat Boys. But even when missing a top or looking a little worse for wear, they still taste great. And the price is right.

I just heard about this place after going to Pepperidge Farms (3min away) in the middle of not much Richmond, Utah. The malt shoppe has a bunch of ice cream options at cheap prices to sit and enjoy inside. There is a drive-through as well. There are also plenty of defective products that the factory cannot ship out to grocery stores that the malt shoppe sells at reduced prices. You can get big boxes of fat boys for around $7, it’s such a good deal!
The ice cream is pretty creamy and they have some great flavors. I think I had the rootbeer float soft serve, elderberry, and raspberry. Very strong as well so you only need one scoop to satisfy your craving.
We enjoyed our quick little visit and our fat boys stayed frozen really well in a cooler bag on our drive back to the Salt Lake area.
Keep in mind that it takes a minute to get your order because the employees are serving it up one at a time. Take a break and relax!

Home of the best Ice Cream around! They have everything from cups, to cones, to shakes- malts, and more. You like FatBoy, this is the place!!! They have factory seconds at the most amazing price, there in store scoop shop is to die for, and there other pops treats and bars are amazing!!! And if you don’t like ice cream, there sherbet is even better! I am from Idaho Falls, Idaho and it is so worth the drive eveytime!
