The menu features entrees, soups, salads, sandwiches, small bites, desserts, with some recipes derived from the Callaway family cookbook and all with a modern twist on southern comfort food. Georgia produced items such as cheeses from Elberton Farms and Sweet Grass Dairy, and cured meats from The Spotted Trotter Farm are highlighted. The bar hosts a variety of chef inspired cocktails meticulously crafted down to the last detail, even pairing appropriate ice and glassware. Cason’s features some of Georgia’s best craft breweries, as well as a signature draft beer, “Cason’s Craft.” The wine list offers over twenty wines by the glass including Callaway Vineyards.

This was our first trip to this restaurant and it was for our 50th wedding anniversary. The food was very good and the service was extremely accommadating. Our server was part of what made our visit so pleasant. She was very kind and patient as we had too many personalities to satisfy. She, however kept a smile the whole time and just went naturallly with the flow. I wish I could remember her name as she certainly absolutely deserves high rates of recognition. This was an extremely pleasant experience.

If I could give it a negative one I would. We were told we couldn’t sit outside because they were not serving people outside and the people behind us were seated outside. Once finally got to a table we waited for 30 minutes for anyone to come over. We finally ordered and waited for food for another 45 minutes. By the time we got our food, we got it to go because of the atmosphere around us. Rudeness overload! Once at our cottage and eating most of it ended up in the trash because it tasted so bad. It tasted old and stale.

Came down to have a few birthday drinks and Donna, our bartender was amazing! Rob was on guitar country-fying some popular songs which was fun as most of the bar sang along to almost every song. Despite being a resort the bar felt like a local neighborhood spot, and made it very comfortable to relax with a few drinks before turning in for the night. We had already eaten but it was good to know you could take advantage of the full dinner menu from the neighboring Piedmont Dining Room, right at the bar if you wanted to.

Great experience! We came here to watch a Braves game and get dinner and drinks. Had the julep. Spot on taste and just the right amount of bourbon. Also sampled some of their incredible craft beer selection. Food was amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Chose to eat outside and the flies were a problem. Had the house salad with salmon. The salmon was perfect, the salad needed more dressing. My wife had the chicken sandwich and said it was loaded with avocado and quite tasty.

Fantastic food for a great price. Our server Carmen was friendly and never even gave us a chance to ask for anything – she was always right there filling our glasses before they got close to empty. Our table entrees were salad with grilled chicken, hamburger with french fries and the fish and chips and everyone raved about how delicious it all was.
