DLT was a 9 out of 10 easily. I’ve never tried Duck Bacon before this night and now I’m hooked. The sandwich was light yet satisfying , the fries were a perfect texture , nice and crunchy , not too greasy. The bacon was meaty , savory , and the strips were very thick and large, packed with that savory duck flavor. The vegetables were fresh.
The Poutine was a 9 out of 10 and was such a treat. I’ve never had fingerling potatoes in my poutine, it’s always been fries…DELICOUSE. The texture of the gravy was on point as was the flavor. I myself don’t like big chunks of cheese curds but understand the flavor the curds bring to this dish is key. This dish had that flavor without the big chunks. I’m a big fan of this style of poutine. The group I was with also loved it, everyone was licking their fingers .
The Brie and Fig Flatbread was amazing and a 9 out of 10 ! It was a really good high quality thin crust pizza with a decadent fig spread and a nice savory touch of Brie chunks. I believe it also has some bacon bits. Perfect balance of sweet and savory and my taste buds were having a party. Delicious !
Alcoholic beverages were 9 out of 10. The martini was one of the best martinis I have ever had. Two of us ordered it and we wanted more , however , it must be a popular drink because we had the last of the mix. Nice candy cane flavor , smooth and minty and the color of a light chocolate milk. One of the owners , who was also actively engaging with customers at thier tables , was nice enough to poor the bottom of the mix in a glass for me so I could have a little more. He was charismatic, accommodating , and all around a GREAT guy to chat with. The bad habits beverage was delicious ! We ordered it from their cask area of the restaurant where they sell their own high quality brewed beverages. The cask room is beautiful with wooden casks everywhere , a lounge , a dog bed that belongs to the goodest boy /greater. If you prefer , you can sit at the bar and have a chance to be served or greeted by the other owner who is very nice, down to earth, easily approachable and seemingly a joy to converse with. She knows her beverages ❤️.
The chef came to our table and greeted us. This was one of my favorite experiences. It was a pleasure to meet the man behind the flavor and to be able to show our love for his craft as well as express our gratitude. What a nice young gentleman who is definitely talented.
The prices are a little high end but the quality of food , the atmosphere and everything that goes with it is worth every single penny. Amazing establishment , I will be back and look forward to diving into some of the other beverages they have in thier cask room.
Note : Menu is a QR code that you scan when you sit at your table. They have some regular menu items and then they have things like Catch of the Day , Soup of the Day , etc.
These last two trips on 9/11 & 9/12 I had a pint of the WEIHENSTEPHANER KRISTALLWEISSBIER Wheat, a liter of the WEIHENSTEPHANER BRAUPAKT Blonde Ale, a liter of AYINGER OKTOBERFEST-MARZEN & a liter of the OKTOBERFEST MARZEN / ORIGINAL MUNCHNER MARZEN from Paulaner Brauerei. Some of the most crisp beer I’ve had in awhile. ☘

and only viewed with a QR code. May be difficult for less tech savy / older clientele. The menu was
limited, yet the food delicious. I found the bar options limited. Fun local spot, passionate owner, community oriented.
While also having a great selection of wine on tap and high end Liquors, the focus is clearly on the unique and interesting beers. The atmosphere is both upscale and relaxed and encourages social interaction. This is one of those places that’s worth making a trip to visit, and the rotation of interesting beers makes each visit unique.
The food menu is small but upscale and focused on quality. The menu seems to be designed around bites and shareables that pair nicely with the beers and Cocktails.
What it comes down to it that Cask & Vine provides a unique experience. Not just because of its format and amazing beer list, but because it is owned and operated by 2 very passionate, very community-driven local owners who prioritized customer service and just being friendly before everything else.
