Kenny Smith and his family have helped feed hungry Lea County residents for over four decades, a Hobbs staple since 1977. Smith earned his restaurant education working his way up the ranks to management at the Red Crow. He then opened Casey’s, a Lea County mainstay. These days, Paula (Smith’s daughter) and Kerry Manis own and operate Casey’s; although, Kenny still helps quite a bit when he isn’t running Easy Par Golf, a retirement job located a few doors down from his grandson’s catering business, KTM Catering. Come see one of the world’s largest coca-cola collections and get an old-fashioned hamburger & hand-battered onion rings! We would love to have you visit soon!

Old-school, family-owned standby with Coca-Cola memorabilia serving burgers & other nostalgic bites.

A classic, no-frills spot that’s been doing things right for years. The food is consistently good, portions are solid, and everything tastes like old-school comfort food made the way it should be—not trendy, not overthought, just satisfying.

Service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere feels familiar and welcoming, like a place where regulars are actually remembered. Prices are reasonable, waits are usually short, and it’s dependable whether you’re stopping in for a quick meal or a sit-down dinner.

Bottom line: Casey’s is reliable, comforting, and steady—one of those local staples that earns its reputation by showing up and delivering every time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a great place to get breakfast. You can tell it’s definitely a local place. There’s a lot of cool collectibles to look at on the walls. The food and atmosphere are great. The people are very nice and friendly. A great old-fashioned diner.

I’ve been twice now… And our server has been very good. Everyone is helpful and polite. The food is also good. The price is a bit high but so is going to the grocery store. I’ll definitely be back to try something else.

Excellent food and atmosphere. I just tried it for the first time today, just a cheeseburger and onion rings. Absolutely a must-have if you visit the area. Food took a little while to arrive so plan to spend at least 20-30 minutes on food during the lunch rush.

This is a nice throwback diner style restaurant. We ordered the green chile burger with tots and a patty melt with tots. The sandwich and burger were great and tots were perfectly prepared. This is located in a mini mall. They’re open at 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Till 2:00 pm on Saturday. Nice folks too!

Found Casey’s by searching Best Restaurants in Hobbs, NM. I would recommend the place to everyone. It has a huge collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia.
The burgers and onion rings were great. The drinks huge and the service amazing.
It’s truly like stepping back in time to a place where your grandparents would have taken you when you were a little kid.
Recommend it to everyone.
Great place tucked away from all the mainstream places.

WOW WOW WOW What a great find! Lived in NM for 13 years and our first visit to Hobbs. Looked up places to eat and Casey’s was the first to pop up. I’m so glad we gave them a try. We got the green chile cheeseburger and a patty melt w/grilled onions. The best patty melt I’ve ever had! My husband loved his cheeseburger also. The gentleman that took our order was very personable and kind. We will be back!

Felt like I stepped back into the 60’s. Awesome atmosphere with lots of memorabilia to look at while waiting for food. Cheeseburger was good…nothing special but onion rings smelled heavenly. I didn’t order any because I wasn’t that hungry but will return in the near future.

First time at Casey’s. No longer cash only, we used credit card. Cleanest restaurant I have ever been in! I had the grilled chicken salad. Very good. My husband had the taco salad. It was more like nachos but good. Onion rings were awesome! We will be back to try the cheeseburgers and breakfast.
