I’ve been going to Casey’s for years, but my most recent visit on a Friday night was easily the most disappointing experience I’ve had there.

When I sat at the bar, it took over 15 minutes and me flagging someone down just to order a drink. It was busy, but the issue seemed more like disorganization than volume. The bartenders were moving all over the place instead of working defined sections. Anyone with even basic bar management knowledge knows that structure matters. The lack of coordination clearly contributed to guests being overlooked.

After finally getting a drink, it was another 15 minutes and another attempt to get someone’s attention just to place a food order. Overall attitude felt as thought I was inconveniencing them.

To be fair, the food was good. The cheesesteak was excellent. But between the slow service and lack of coordination, the experience was frustrating and unfortunate to see.

After meeting a client in Berwyn last night, I stopped into Casey’s Pour House for one of their famous roast beef sandwiches. I’ve tried a lot of great spots along the Main Line, but Casey’s in Berwyn continues to be my go-to. The food is consistently excellent, the service is quick, and the atmosphere feels like classic Main Line hospitality. If you’re looking for the best roast beef sandwich in Berwyn or a reliable local restaurant and bar in the Philadelphia suburbs, Casey’s Pour House is always worth the stop.

I have been a customer of Casey’s for a long time, both with my coworkers down the road at Audi Devon along with my family as I grew up in Berwyn. I have enjoyed the service of past and current employees (Jimmy is our favorite!) but I am inclined to write a review today as the woman working the bar / phone was and has been in the past extremely rude. I do not know her name unfortunately, she is blonde. When I was ready to use my credit card to pay for my order over the phone, she abruptly said I would have to wait because she has drinks to make as if I was inconveniencing her by wanting to give them business. She was also rude when I requested her to read back the order; paying over the phone and having an order repeated are standard operations in the food & beverage industry. What else is standard operation in the food & beverage industry is being polite and kind to your paying customers. She is neither.

Big menu, lots of tables, good ‘pub’ feel, nice craft beer selection (quality, not quantity). Really big bar with lots of TVs. Food was pretty good as were portions. Burgers look awesome. Reasonable prices. Pub food done right. Parking can be tricky as the lot isn’t huge.

Casey’s Pour House is a good place for comfort food. My husband enjoyed a Cajun Chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and I had a delicious chicken pot pie. The portion of chicken pot pie was just right for me. It had a flaky crust, enough chicken and just the right variety of vegetables. It wasn’t too soupy and I was able to eat the entire dish with a fork. We had a booth right by the bar and it was a little loud there on a Thursday evening but that didn’t stop me from enjoying my meal.

Usually good service and friendly place. A few good beer selections, decent food and good specials (half off burger night).

Had a rough experience recently, asked for soup before meal, never arrived (before or during )and we’re charged for it (we could not ask the kitchen because “they would yell at us” was the response from server.
Anyway, everyone has a bad night, kinda affected our meal but we drank through it.

Good neighborhood bar. Fair prices, intelligent staff with knowledge of beer.
Any place that has Fiddle Head on tap must be doing something right.
Nice setting inside with great local pictures on the wall.
Try the bread pudding and fish tacos (not at same time).
Good location and easy to get to with plenty of parking….it can get busy on weeks nights after local bball games but that it part of the fun.

Casey did not strike out but he did not hit a homerun. This Cheesesteak leads off with a Conshohocken roll. The conshohocken roll is a great leadoff hitter. The position players really helped this cheesesteak. The mushrooms and fried onions spent some time together on the grill and were very tasty. There was a good amount of cheese. I just wish it was mixed in with the meat better. The meat was the weak Link in this cheesesteak. Casey’s was not as well lit as I thought it was going to be for lunch. I had to use my other phone to light the Cheesesteak for the close-up pics. Good overall experience.

Fantastic! Great service, chill, friendly atmosphere, delicious food. The Italian beef sammich with provolone and peppers is to die for. As someone born and raised in Chicago, Casey’s beef would give ANY place in the windy city a run for their money. It’s super, super good and I’m sad I didn’t try it sooner. Also got the spinach and artichoke dip and chicken pot pie, both prepared with love and you could tell. Can’t wait to come back!
