Was recommended to try this place while in town. The catfish did not disappoint, I’m not a big fan of fried food but the catfish was fried to perfection, crispy and not greasy. Can’t say the same about the fries, they weren’t bad but nowhere near the best.
Ordered via pickup, everyone was nice and friendly once you walk in and pay for your order. Wish the coleslaw was packaged differently, in the styrofoam container so if it tips just a little your bag will be filled with coleslaw juice

I would describe this place as a Hole-in-the-Wall kind of place. It’s tucked in a corner away from tourist traffic but looks like the locals know about it. Their fried catfish fillets are so very good, they are tender and fresh with just the right amount of seasoning that I didn’t even want to add anything else to cover it up. I’d most likely go back again if and when I travel through this area.

Fried catfish is fantastic. Hush puppies are even better. I can’t remember any better hush pups. Loved it. Beans and coleslaw was to the point. Fries were made fresh however they were soggy and greasy, I will pass on fries. They were short staffed and were busy. I liked the place and will be back again if I am in the area. Thank y’all!

Stopped in for dinner tonight with my husband and our girls and was absolutely blown away!! The service was wonderful, the staff very friendly, the food was AMAZING!! The catfish is so fresh as well as the shrimp!! We enjoyed our dinner there and would definitely recommend to others if they haven’t already been!! If ever we’re back in Ardmore Oklahoma this is where I would choose to eat!!

This was a great place! Me and a friend are not from here and went baised on the reviews, they were pretty accurate on how good the place was. The food was super awesome. My friend got the catfish platter and me the hamburger. My friend said the fish was out of this world good, and the hushpuppys were awesome too. The fries are fresh cut and tasty. Service was awesome too.
Just as a heads up they do charge for refills, the 1st is free but it’s 50 cents for any after that. But it’s very affordable place tho and hamburger baskets are less expensive and way better than McDonald’s or any other fast food place.

After a long day of swimming at Turner Falls this hit the spot. If you are driving back to Texas this place is about 15 minutes south from Turner Falls in Ardmore. This is a great pit stop for some good food and awesome ice tea after a hot day outside. The service provided was outstanding; she even commented that we could save money by getting a different option on the menu as opposed to each ordering the same thing. We ordered the Catfish for 4 People. The catfish was hot, made to order with a nice flakey crust. The hushpuppies had just a little kick of jalapeno flavor and the beans and coleslaw were on point. My child ordered the ‘small appetite’ Chicken Fried Steak and it was the size of her plate. I tried that and it was really good. Overall, you will not go wrong stopping here for lunch or dinner. It was a pleasurable experience in a nice clean restaurant with great country food.
