We have only lived in town (Melrose) for a bit over a year, and we have seen this store go through a big transition.
Shelves were regularly unstocked and empty, slushie machine never worked, workers were obviously over tired and unfriendly… But over the past few months things have really started to change. Not perfect, but getting there.
Staff seems to be happier, fresh case is usually stocked, and the fountain drink/slushie area is better but still has maintenance issues.
I am all for people having a fun time while working, but please talk to your staff about appropriate topics, especially when in earshot of customers.
Our pizza usually turns out great and we are happy to see this store becoming a place the residents and out of town guests can really count on.

Nice clean easily accessible truck stop with cheap fuel. But the missing stars are because only the 1 truck diesel pump works. I was there a few weeks ago and figured it was a temporary break down but now here 3 of the 4 bays are still broke down. If the pumps are fixed next time I’ll up my review to 5 stars.

Easy in and out from I94. Bathrooms looked cool and clean at first, but a closer look reveals they are a bit untidy.

This place has gone down hill since kwik trip came to town, I like whoever owns it gave up caring about it, if you are a truck driver getting fuel you usually have the luxury of at least 1 of the 4 pumps working 2 on special occasions, you walk in the door your greeted white the overwhelming smell of mold and mildew, the bathroom is always out of hand soap and is never clean and with the exception of one employee you have to deal with people who obviously hate because you are asking them to do the job they are getting paid to do. I hate to give them a one star rating because they suck and deserve a -111 but then I couldn’t leave a rating at all. Kwik trip is the only place to go in Melrose Mn anymore oh and you need DEF you probably won’t be getting it here since they are more often than not “out” or like with the diesel pumps, they just don’t work

I am in this location multiple times a week, the overall care is for below par. The men’s bathroom had haf the same wet floor sign near the last urinal for over a month now. The 2nd toilet has had the same 2nd grade handwriting of out of order for going on 3 weeks as it is letting out a very heavy sewage smell, the sinks are almost all not working so I wonder if employees even was hands. The bathroom clean checklist was only checked off 1 hour time in November but it is now December. Do they clean the bathrooms? Don’t smell like it. Today I seen someone eating yogurt on the food prep area right in the front of the deli. I have spoke to employees before, but apparently no one cares. I even seen an employee hold his breath go into the men’s room, come out and say: man it smells in there. Hopefully it is cleaned up before the next visit.
