A great Italian restaurant with a few different rooms divided for a cozy environment. Our waiter Chad was excellent and all the staff were friendly.
Everything we ordered was delicious, Fettuccine Alfredo, Vodka Sauce Gnocchi with Grilled Chicken. Your table gets free bread and butter that is delicious, but highly recommend adding the dipping oil with fresh basil as an appetizer.
We went early around 3-4pm on a Sunday and were seated quickly, but by the time we left it was busy so a reservation may be helpful for dinner.

Carly was the absolute best!!! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and it really made the whole experience. She was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Food was also delicious! The decorations inside the restaurant are absolutely gorgeous. There was zero wait despite it being 6pm during KC restaurant week. Overall amazing service from the staff.

Let me just say, the food, delicious! Service, outstanding! They made us feel very welcome and the Atmosphere, was just lovely! My family and I stopped in for dinner and as busy as it was we were seated right away. We will most definitely be back for another delicious dinner!

Bread and dipping oil is hard to stop eating. I had the red and white lasanga after having the best crispiest, not rubbery calamari I have ever had. Meatballs with sauce (gravy) and cheese. Dessert was a fine ice cream and tiramisu as well. Don’t forget the Peroni beer. And a cappachino.

We came in for the Osso Buco but that was sold out, so my wife had to “settle” for the boneless pork chops… which isn’t settling at all. It was excellent! I had the Johnny’s Platter…very tasty! We both are leaving with enough leftovers for another meal. Friendly staff and they offer a military / veteran discount.

Absolutely loved it! This was my first time going. Went for Valentine’s Day with my husband and they treated us so well. We did make a reservation. We had the chicken spindini and clam linguine. It was amazing and the price was wonderful we got a bottle of prosecco and the garlic oil dip it was 109$ before tip. The host was wonderful. I loved the way they had control of the restaurant. It was a wonderful time highly recommend.

The food! The kind of place that is great for a casual lunch, family dinner, or date night! Amazing food and reasonable priced! The people thst work there make you feel like you are at home. My new go to when im in town. Tuesday has a fried chicken special that will make you question Grandma’s cooking. I’m a southern boy and that a pretty bold statement. I highly recommend.

Best Italian restaurant in Kansas City! Always a GREAT experience!! The food is always fresh and tasteful!! Carla is the best! Always has a smile and treats everyone wonderfully! Jimmy came out and said hello to us! I’ve been trying to meet him and he was gracious to come out and meet. What a wonderful place to break bread! Thank you Jimmy, Carla and staff for always giving us a most amazing dining experience!!

This use to be one of my favorite establishments. I would eat here all the time and I love their cheesecake along with everything else on the menu. However I just spent my birthday here on the 25th of February around 7pm with my family, we had a party of 18 and was provided a private dining room to eat enjoy our dinner for my special day. The waiter we were provided was very rude and seemed frustrated from the beginning of service until the end. My family is big on respect and we also have a lot of servers that work in the food industry so we definitely understand how serving can be so we tried to be understanding maybe he had a long day and was a little tired but the attitude we received from this man was one of the worse experiences i ever had with a waiter. We ate we paid for our dinner and left. The next day I get a call from the owner FRANK CASCONE’s personal cell phone number while at work and he is furious asking me why I was rude to his waiter he accused my family of walking out on a $30 tab, asked me where I worked because he was going to come to my job to collect his payment all before getting the facts from his employees before calling me also being rude and disrespectful. I simply explained there was misunderstanding and that all the parties in my family payed for their meal and we have our bank statements that shows we did to prove it he then stated he would call me back after he talked to his employees and gathered some more information just to call back apologizing after finding out we did in fact pay all of our tabs and was not rude to his waiter. I was offered a free meal for when I return as if I will ever eat at this establishment again. I feel so disrespected and insulted and feel like I was treated horribly on what was supposed to be a special day for me. So thanks Cascone’s!
