Cascarino’s lies so much about preparation times, and I’ve never left a bad review, but tonight was my last time or my families in this restaurant. I ordered three Pepperoni Pinwheels for my kids, and the pizza man told me they were out of stock at me moment but could prepare them in just 10 minutes. So I paid, and after 28 minutes, someone who seemed to be the manager told me it would take a few more minutes. I told him it had already been half an hour since I paid, and he told the same pizza man not to lie to people about the time. I told him not to say anything, that I could wait (because it’s not pleasant to have two employees arguing in your face about their mistakes). Then the pizza maker told the other employee that I had to wait because my order took time to prepare. At that point, I told the pizza man that it wasn’t right to lie to customers, to which he responded, laughing in my face, with a clownish expression and between his teeth: “What do you want me to do? If you want them raw, I’ll pack them up for you.” And the truth is, after half an hour they were still raw because I was standing right in front of the oven and the dough looked completely raw. When he responded to me like that, I just left the soda I’d already paid for on the counter and walked out of the restaurant. Because of that employee’s disrespect, my response wasn’t going to be polite at all; I was immediately shacking of anger so I decided leaving the restaurant inmediately and with empty hands since the order was far far from being ready. It’s sad to see that most people these days don’t care at all about respecting their workplace or the customers who ultimately keep our community’s businesses open.

Staff brings honest welcoming attention to your questions and wishes. We’re happy to arrive and enjoy our time and meals, from delicious slices to delicious dinners. Staff happily brings you fresh coffee. The kind staff, wide menu, fair prices, comfortable booths and tables and clean one at a time bathroom make Cascarino’s a reminder that good people are doing great in our neighborhood.
Their kindness starts at the door which is free of the sign “Bathroom only for customers”, which to my family means “Do Not Think of Eating Here!”

Went here recently Oct ’23. The parking lot out in the front is definitely appreciated. The lady behind the counter was very sweet & friendly.
I ordered a large peppers & onion pie. It was beautiful as it was delicious. Toppings were fresh & cheese very robust. I recommend this place. Their sauce is a bit sweet which I like. If you’re into sweet pizza sauce definitely stop by here.

sweet sauce at cascarino’s hits you like it’s got something to prove. real sugary. real loud. the kind of sweet that sneaks up on your gums and makes you think about scheduling a dental checkup before you even finish the slice. you take one bite and suddenly you’re side-eyeing the smilist next door like hey man you open or what. my mouth’s filing a complaint and i don’t even know why. the dough’s soft. almost too soft. the whole thing leaves you wondering how a slice can taste like dessert and still hurt your feelings. two stars. and that’s me being generous before the copay kicks in.

I had ordered through GrubHub last night during a storm and I didn’t realize how bad the flooding had been (totally my fault). The driver took 3 hours to deliver the food and while waiting, someone at the restaurant called twice to offer to deliver the food themselves. It was a kind gesture that was offered and much appreciated. I ended up giving the food to my neighbor who has two teenage boys because they got so excited when they heard I had ordered from Cascarino’s. Will definitely be ordering from them again. This time when the weather is better!

We stopped at Cascarino’s for a quick slice in between errands and were pleasantly surprised. We each got a slice of the Margherita pizza and added pepperoni. The crust was perfect: crispy with a nice crunch to it but not stiff or chewy. The sauce was delicious and the toppings tasted really fresh. There isn’t really a ton of room to dine in, with only a small counter with stools and a couple booths. The rest of the restaurant seems to have just been turned into storage (maybe a covid era remnant?). There were a few tables out front that were a bit shaded but they were all taken up. We didn’t want to eat in our car so we sat at one of the booths. It was a really hot day and with the pizza ovens, it wasn’t very comfortable inside; definitely not a place to sit and relax for an extended amount of time but most people seemed to be placing orders to go. The staff was friendly and the pizza was absolutely delicious (with great prices) so we will definitely be back!

I’ve never had an issue with the food here and ordered penne alla vodka during my visit last night. While waiting, I saw a mouse walk by, and although staff members seemed to notice, no action was taken. It was unsettling and made me question the cleanliness of the restaurant. I’m unsure if I’ll return.

I was on the phone ordering a pizza and heard a man screaming at a worker, unbelievably unprofessional and he was so disrespectful. I went in multiple times with the new management, the wait is unbelievable, the pizza is overpriced, not good anymore it’s so greasy and disgusting, new management sucks, and the new bosses decided to cheap out on materials but raise the prices by ALOT don’t waste spending your money here.

We were disappointed with our takeout order. Unfortunately, we had hoped that under the new ownership the flavor would remain somewhat the same. Its worth noting that the pizza used to have such a unique sauce that made the drive up to Whitestone worth it, but now it’s completely different. While the crust is still the same, the sauce was bland and lacked the flavor we loved. This isn’t meant as hate, just honest feedback from someone who truly loved what it used to be.
