Beyond the food, the service at Cascadia is always exceptional warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. You can feel that the staff cares, and that energy comes directly from the owners, who clearly pour their heart into everything they do, from the menu to the atmosphere to the community they’re building.
Their sister restaurant, Kindred Public House, is just as amazing, offering a different but equally elevated dining experience, proof that this team truly understands hospitality and intentional dining in Spokane.
Whether you’re a local or visiting, Cascadia Public House is a must-visit if you want thoughtful food, inclusive dining, and outstanding service in Spokane. Highly recommend for date nights, group dinners, or anyone with dietary needs who wants to feel fully included.
The atmosphere is kinda barebones, a couple tvs above the bar but that’s really it. I was by myself, but the music volume was such that I don’t think it would be easy to have a conversation with a friend. The space is pretty small and the acoustics feel too “heavy” in that space. Maybe it’s the speaker setup.
I asked for burger recommendations, and I settled on this burger that had whole raspberry berries on it. Maybe I am uncultured in the gastropub scene, but that was one of the most jarring sensations I’ve ever had in a meal. And the upgraded garlic fries were pretty mid- just drizzled with garlic sauce that didn’t have much flavor.
All together though, I paid around $25-ish for a meal that wasn’t…bad, but was not something I wish I had eaten, nor would I recommend.
I don’t think health code forbids raspberries on burgers, but maybe, for sake of American palettes, it should.
Service was also great with attentive staff and drinks were run over from the bar quickly by the bartenders. The only real negative was the noise level, which subsided as the evening went on but was pretty loud when we first got there.
Overall we were all very happy with the whole experience and would definitely drop in for another opportunity to eat here.
Original post: I was searching online for a nice place to go for Fathers day Lunch. We have 1 person with a Milk allergy, and 1 person who cant have gluten or dairy. So when this place popped up and i saw the menu, i was pretty excited, seeing as i am the milk allergy. Happy hour appetizers where delicious ( the vegan queso i could have ate like soup) the pretzels are amazing, chips and salsa, then we all had different main courses, we had one fried/ crispy chicken sandwich that looked spectacular, we had a basic cheese burger ( with vegan cheese on lettuce) they have gluten free buns but she prefers no bun, then we had the Cascadia burger with the garlic fries, and finally the blue cheese burger sub for vegan FYH blue cheese and garlic fries, a dessert of lemon cheese cake with a huckleberry sauce ( that only had to bites eaten but was declared refreshing) a couple scoops of vegan icecream shared, and a scoop of regular icecream. All in all the meal was pretty tasty and we all were planning what we wanted next. Dare we say at least a couple of us are thinking the Vegan Mac.
