I loved my steelhead, amazing all around. The steak wasn’t cooked med rare and was served medium, at $58 price I was very disappointed for my husband. I think the gravy they was a bit overbearing and could have been less. The breakfasts are okay, but more or less they taste like a hotel breakfast and not what you’d expect from this restaurant. The view is amazing and service is top notch! We will come back, and try the lunch menu for sure.

great restaurant with above average service. Alexandria was so damn funny, she made our experience great after a really long morning of hiking. Honestly, I’d go back just to see her.

The food was really good. Hats off to their chefs! The service lacked in a major way. We had reservations for 8pm which is absolutely understandable for a pre Valentine’s weekend. When we arrived, we were told that they were running behind so we could wait outside the dining area or go to the bar and purchase a drink. At this point, if anything, a complimentary drink should have been offered for the inconvenience. We returned 20 minutes later only to wait an additional 10 minutes with other disgruntled guests. When we were finally seated we weren’t given an apology or offered any sort of recompense for our inconvenience. The food was delicious and our server John was very pleasant but I was very surprised when we were handed the bill, that there wasn’t even a discount offered. Most likely won’t dine here again. The Lodge is one of my wife’s favorite places to visit so we will return for an occasional nights stay. Overall, we were super disappointed with the dining experience at the Cascade dining room.

Some of the best food my family and I have had in a long time!!! The server was so wonderful too! Asked if we wanted the kids food out first – which was incredibly thoughtful!

What a beautiful setting to enjoy a delicious meal. Service was excellent! They have gluten free and dairy free options. The Parmesan Fries are a must. The Seafood Salad was delicious, topped with shrimp, salmon, crab, and avocado. Fresh and filling! We will definitely return.

We had breakfast here before we walked around the grounds. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Our child is 2 and was able to eat from the buffet free of charge, which was nice. They do offer a kid menu for 10 and under as well.

Attended a wedding at the Lodge and had breakfast here with a large group the next day. There was a mixup with our reservation, but they made it right, seating our large group. The view is nice. Good breakfast spread.

The food was delicious! We stayed at the resort for 3 nights. We ate the buffet twice and regular menu for breakfast once, lunch twice, and dinner once. I found that our drinks were rarely checked on unless they were alcohol. Weekend buffet is definitely better than Monday buffet. We did have 2 infants and 2 toddlers that were 3.5… first day the hostess told us that any child under 3 gets free buffet so we didn’t do buffet. the second day we did and on the receipt, we were charged for all 4 kids and it said kids buffet 4-12. When we asked the server, kids 3 & under eat free. She then had them all removed. the third day, we were charged for the toddlers, which was understandable, one is 70 percentile and the other is 90th percentile in height. They did fix this for us. On Saturday night we had reservations for prime rib, my friend moved up our reservation time but did not notice it changed the date. when we arrived at 5, we were told they couldn’t sit anyone until 815, even a 2 top and prime rib would not be able to be made d/t closing at 9. My friend had planned our day around this prime rib. I talked to the other restaurant, reception, and room service and could not get the prime rib anywhere else bc it is limited and can only be served at cascade. We were also told a 1.5 hr wait at the other restaurant. Luckily they hostess was able to sit us last minute. We did have something that was diabetic with us. Come Sunday, we go to our 5pm reservation and they had left over prime rib from Saturday. Was happy to have it but a bit annoyed about the situation. It would have been nice if staff had been a little more flexible. We did have nice servers, great atmosphere, and good food.
