Must stop if your hiking the Cascades! Great biscuit, good beer selection, nice small selection of gear (hats, shirts, stickers, etc). I literally stop in every time I hike the falls, it is part of the trip!

I stopped in on my way through the area to grab a quick bite to eat. I try to find small local restaurants to stop in when I get a chance. The shop was nice with a variety of items. The cafe was small, simple, and nice. I misunderstood what I ordered. I ordered the Castle Rock roast beef. I thought it was going to be hot and have melted cheddar but it came out cold with shredded cheddar. It came out correct and it was tasty but I was kinda bummed. Completely my fault. The staff working the store was super friendly. The lady who took my order and made the sandwich was nice. I would absolutely stop in again, especially for the store part.

A cute little diner tucked to the side of Tangent Outfitters, which is a convenient store/outfitter/gas station. It’s a very popular breakfast place w locals and an idea location for nourishment following a hike at nearby Cascade Falls (2 mi up the road). Big menu to choose from. Specials each day like the roast beef open face sandwich w gravy. We ordered a Greek Feta wrap and a tuna melt. Mine was homemade tuna salad w cheddar cheese heated on a croissant. Sooo good!! The Greek Feta wrap was on a spinach wrap w cucumbers, olives, spinach, roasted red peppers, feta, and ranch dressing. Both orders came with a bag of chips & a pickle spear. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

Their Greek chicken wrap is so amazing! With it being healthy, filling, and affordable, I’d much rather spend my money at a small business with great service than giving it to fast food. I’m so thankful for their healthy yet affordable options and their great service. Once I found this sandwich, I probably get one once a week. So, I’m the lady that calls in the Greek chicken wrap with no peppers every week lol. The only thing I would change or add is the option to tip the servers when checking out with a card. They do a great job and I would leave more of a tip if I could. Thanks!

I was pretty disappointed here. We got a cheeseburger and large calzone. It took over 30 minutes to get the food even though it did not look busy. I saw a lot of standing around. The burger was just okay. Onions were old and almost transparent so I took those off. The calzone was undercooked, still doughy on the inside. They had a lot of sides listed on the top menu but they apparently were all “seasonal” and only had two sides available. Macaroni salad or fries would have been nice. The quality of the food we did get wasn’t very good and I don’t think I will eat here again.
I do like looking around the store and I bought an oversized sweater which I have been enjoying.

This is a small spot tucked inside an outfitter/gas station/convenience store. They offer a wide selection of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Service was prompt and friendly, and the kitchen appeared to be clean and uncluttered. Menu prices are good and fair, in my opinion.
I got the special muffaletta sandwich, seems as though it was only being offered for a limited time and you may not find it on the menu. The menu is a bit bigger than it probably should be, so I’m not sure if everything else is up to par quality-wise, but my sandwich was really good. Their sub bread is nice and crusty on the outside and soft in the middle. Utz brand chips were included, along with a pickle spear.
I drive through here for work often so I grabbed a paper menu. I can definitely see myself calling in some to-go orders in the near future.

We drove by on our way back to the RV park and decided to try it. I ordered 1/2 a Philly steak sandwich and my wife ordered a Greek feta wrap. They both were great. We highly recommend this place. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were very good.

I usually order the burgers at the Cafe but they were short staffed yesterday and we had to get BLTs and they were very sad. Lol. The BLTs were made with very thin prepackaged bacon that was gross and there was hardly any bacon on the sandwiches so 50 percent of the time we were biting into just lettuce and mayo. The mayo was caked on in lumps and yuk. Don’t order the BLT. It was 18 dollars for 2 of them and they were pathetic. I would have been better off grabbing a premade turkey sandwich from the fridge for half the price.

The cashier was rude. The whole time me and my wife was walking around she stared us down like we was going to rob the place, and we just stopped for coffee. She was really rude to us as we paid for a few things we found . Then she took care receipt and didn’t even offer us it just took it and put it in the trash? Weird vibes the whole time. Would not go back

They need to step up the food service. One sandwich the wait time was long. There seemed to be a conference in the kitchen over the Texas Toast, when I
asked for it NOT to be toasted. The menu is way too huge. Food is away from the main store and you still have to take your item to another counter and pay for it. Lots of slurpy machines. No diet beverages in slurpee form. Ladies bathroom needs some attention. Fix door latches. Clean better. After I washed my hands I went out like a surgeon, hands up and not touching the exit door.
