Two of our four meals were delivered missing key ingredients, no warning, no discount. The kale salad bowl came with no kale (or replacement lettuce) and the adobo chicken came with no avocado. We would have ordered something else had we simply been told, or the option became unavailable on the ordering pad. If you’re out of something, don’t try to sell a watered down version with no warning. That’s false advertising.

Yeah it is a cafe where you are captive in the aquarium, but we thought our food was very good considering we had low expectations. The clam chowder was delicious and our daughter enjoyed her Mac and cheese kids meal. Food is pricey because you’re stuck in the aquarium with little other options available but at least we felt it was decent.

In over 30 years from childhood to now adulthood I have never experienced such rude service by this cafe. , thankfully the aquarium is separate and has incredibly kind staff that understand you’re with toddlers/children and let you have your snack almost anywhere. Charmaine made it her mission to approach my child and I as he was snacking to tell us we had to leave followed by ”didn’t you read the signs everywhere”, no I’m sorry I was busy feeding the toddler and catching our breathe. I left feeling very uncomfortable from an environment I’ve always been happy to be in , cafe AND aquarium. Will be going back to aquarium, NEVER back to the cascade cafe.

Terrible to the employees. They force the employees there to purchase from from the aquarium cafe itself for food and take it out of their paycheck. And if you even dare to bring in your own lunch they will punish you for it. These workers need to form a union. This is illegal.

Not sure what happened with the bad reviews but our food was really good and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. This isn’t a 5 star restaurant nor does it claim to be, but much better than I expected for an aquarium cafe.
