f you’re looking for an excellent Mexican restaurant with plenty of parking, Cascada La Golondrina is definitely worth a visit. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and has a simple, understated interior that lets the food take center stage.

Amazing food that is to-die-for! My favorites are the Quesabirria Tacos and Plato Mexicano (Carne Asada Tacos with Grilled Onion, Cactus, Jalapeño, and Queso Fresco). They usually have specials as well, to include things like Pozole, Mole, Caldo de Res, etc.

They give white queso and salsa with the chips. That is unusual,but good. I got the special meal, it was lots of food for the price. We also got the tostada,it was good. The staff was friendly,prompt and helpful.

Amazing flavors, very comfy food and the people who work here are very kind. Love the free cheese dip and dishes… especially their chicken soup. I’m addicted to it, it’s a huge soup full of big chunks of juicy shredded chicken, tomato, onions, big pepper, and a killer aromatic delicious broth. I get this soup weekly… it’s too badass. They also have great nachos, tamales, and FAJITAS. Best fajitas jalisocos in town.

It was my first time, and it had been 7yrs since my fiance had been here. He ordered the Special Dinner, and I had the Fujita Quesadilla. Both meals were delicious. I had a frozen peach margarita, and he had the cascada. When our waiter brought our check, he asked if I wanted another because it was buy 1 get 1 free and even brought me a to go cup if I needed it. A few moments later, he brought us 2 tequila shots and said they were on the house. Was not disappointed and great services.

We ordered 8 tacos to go for dinner tonight. When we got home, we opened up the containers.. we noticed the tacos had barely any meat (chicken & beef), lettuce & cheese on them. Everything was so inconsistent. I understand $1.50/taco, but still don’t skimp on your customers. So we called the restaurant at 9:55pm to speak to the manager. Gilbert (aka manager) who answered the phone, told us, to DRIVE back to the restaurant to show him. To show him our tacos. We told him we live on the other side of town and all “Gilbert” says to us is “well, we are still open for a few more minutes”. Not a happy customer…
