Food was good, but overpriced for the quality. House margarita was good. Not enough seating for a seasonal place; they could rearrange things and fit more patrons easily. Help was slow… very slow. They were nice enough – the waiters were seasonal help from European countries and were pleasant – just need to speed things up. Good overall.

Margaritas were good. Chips and salsa good. Food not great. It’s pretty bland and not seasoned or prepared the way most of the Mexican food I’ve had in my life is. Rice and beans in particular were very bland. The enchiladas and tacos seemed very fresh, but, again, kind of plain. However, they are really good about making dietary accommodations. Friendly service.

The best part about this place was they didn’t make us pay for the terrible food that we had to wait an hour for. We watched more people walk in and walk back out than stay and get a table.
It’s hard to even start with where things went wrong here because everything was being run so poorly. There was no hostess, one person waiting on all the tables and bartending(and being the hostess), and the food was just not good. I have never turned food away or not paid for food until today and I worked in a restaurant for 7 years in college! Sooo bad! We had just spent two days in the wilderness climbing mountains and were ravenous for anything that tasted better than dehydrated food…..it didn’t happen. It was just awful.
The people that worked here were nice and apologetic. I can promise I won’t go to this place again and I hope for their sake they re-evaluate their staffing,management, and menu otherwise they won’t be in business much longer.

Nice looking place in Creede. Food was ok, prepared adequately. Portion size was fair. The service was rough. Looked horribly understaffed for lunch on a Saturday. Food took quite awhile to be served. Our drinks were empty for quite awhile. It’s a shame because it looks like a new build with potential.

We stayed here the night before climbing San Luis Peak. We found the cabins to be very clean and modern feeling. We ate in the restaurant, and the food and service were very good. Mary was very accommodating. Would stay here again.
