Nice mom and pop beer bar, but it’s not the bar I go for ITS THE FOOD. I’ve NEVER been disappointed, it’s always nice and hot, and DELICIOUS. If you’ve been wondering if the food is good I’m telling you it is! I’ve been a regular since moving to Hampton and I’ve sent plenty of friends and family over for some food and they never came back disappointed! It’s definitely worth the try if your debating it, man and woman I usually see in there are very nice drop in whenever you get a chance and promise you’ll keep coming back, that food is good ol fashioned home cooked quality.

The food was so good I forgot to take photos of it! Ordered the fish dinner with greens and Yams. Food was top tier! Greens were so tender, the Yams- perfecto, and the fish with tarter sauce-excellect!!! Everything was made to order so there was a wait, but well worth it. Would absolutely recommend. Might want to call in order ahead because the food is in high demand so they’re pretty busy.

A very nice and historic hole in the wall restaurant and bar that one would easily pass by without noticing, but if you notice and drop in, you will be glad you did and return again and again! First off, the food is second to none. Pork chops,Yock, chicken, Collard greens,Mac and cheese,yams, etc… Oh yeah, the fellowship among what seems like family and friends, even if you have just met them! And did I mention,pig feet dinners?

BEST CHICKEN YOK ANYWHERE!! I have been looking for good yock (or yok) place for years. Was told about this place and so glad I tried it. Its made fresh and its always perfect. Great prices as well. Unassuming building, you may drive right past it thinking its just a normal house, but its there and if you go, you will not be disappointed by the food!!
