It is being generous to say that the food here is not a delight. The Cacio e Pepe was so salty as to be inedible. It burned my mouth. We compared notes with the ladies at a neighboring table who decided to get up and leave after trying their excessively saline pasta dishes. Service was slow. The saving grace was the cocktails so it would perhaps be wise to close up the kitchen and promote the bartender.

We were a group of three. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and enjoyed sitting outside. The waiters were so nice and caring. We ordered several dishes, started from Crudo di Tonno, and Bruschetta caponata. The crudo was not as fresh and tasty according to all three of us. We ordered several pasta dishes including chitarra cacio, fusili pesto, and linguine vongole. Unfortunately the food was not good, it my pesto pasta wasn’t tasty, the truffle pasta was so salty and then chittarra was not fresh. I think out of all these 5 dishes only the eggplant bruschetta was tasty and good but not good for sharing, cutting it was a mess.

Stumbled upon this gem while walking through the neighborhood. My husband was meeting em for lunch before we did some exploring and as I was walking through the city the vibes to Casaro are what pulled me in.

Small but unique menu with untypical pastas. Beautiful atmosphere and attentive staff. Many of the staff are Italian including the chef. Portions were healthy and prices are moderate.

This is a new restaurant. The ambience inside is beautiful wit the open oven to look at and the cooks. Service was good. I had the funghii pizza. We had the Buratta cheese which was tasty. It was a little bit too burned but flavor was good. Papardelli and Chitaron Carcio were good.

Lots of promise but so many kinks to work out. Prices are high and food doesn’t live up to it relative to other options within a mile radius. Clear lack of communication between management / waitstaff / kitchen because the starters arrived before cocktails, food flying out of the kitchen and waiters not having an idea of how to space it out. Want to like it and will be back when the patio opens but hope they figure it out by then!
