Warm atmosphere and our server was attentive, which we appreciated. However, the pastas were a bit bland. For example, the carbonara tasted more like milk or cream rather than having the rich egg yolk flavor you would expect. The basil gnocchi was also somewhat bland.
The eggplant dish was my favorite. Portions were very generous overall, which was nice. With a bit more flavor and balance in the pasta dishes, the experience could be even better.

The service here was so great that I wish I could’ve loved this place. We ordered the Caesar, frutti di mare, and lasagna. The Caesar is very well dressed, so if you’re not into that, definitely ask them to go light.
Both pasta dishes left a lot to be desired; they were dry and bland. That said, the servers were gracious when we told them our concerns and even gave us a sample of their bolognese before we ordered replacement dishes. This helped because we ultimately decided the flavors of the restaurant were not what we were looking for.

Calamari was the best I’ve ever had! Clearly fresh and not frozen. The clams were great. The chicken in the alla vodka was so soft and tender. The pasta was perfectly al dente. The veal was tender.
The tiramisu was delicious, but pricey. And the Chocolate lava cake didn’t have any lava — yet delicious, but maybe not worth the price.

I came here for lunch after an event in Faneuil hall, it was the first place we walked by that was open during lunch time. Upon entering we received a very warm welcome. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious! The bolognese was so good, pasta was so fresh! I also recommend the chicken parm spring rolls and my mom loved the butternut squash ravioli special. It’s very small inside so if they take reservations it’s probably best to make one. Definitely check it out!

Outstanding food. The pasta portions are very generous, they’re handmade pasta and my spaghetti was cooked al dente. We had the eggplant rolls with ricotta filling, shrimp diavolo spaghetti, lamb ragu casarecce, and tiramisu. Wines were also excellent.

Food was great, however it was very small and cramped. But honestly it adds to the charm of the place. Very Boston Italian. We didn’t have reservations but they were able to get us in. The food came out super quickly. We got the calamari it was so good. Not chewy and perfectly crisp. The lobster ravioli was our favorite. We also got the vodka chicken and it was really good too but not as good as lobster ravioli. The espresso martini was probably one of the best I’ve ever had

Beautiful restaurant and the food was also great. The service was great. Tried the arugula salad. It was great all the starters, including the artichoke dip bruschetta . Everything was great.

Homemade bread and pasta was excellent. We had a larger party and sampled each others dishes and all were delicious. The service was great and fast. Highly recommend.

We had a pleasant experience here. Near closing time, the servers welcomed us inside and gave us a table right by the window, which was open to the street. We received great service throughout the whole meal, and we were not pressured to leave even though the restaurant was about to close. And most importantly, the food was wonderful. My chicken Parmesan was warm and hearty, with tasty chicken topped with a blanket of melted cheese and served with Casarecce pasta. My father enjoyed his lasagna, which was the perfect portion: not too large, but filling and of good quality. My mother ordered a dish that consisted of spaghetti with clams and white wine sauce, which she described as fantastic. Overall, this was a good experience at a small but hospitable Italian restaurant.

Definitely get a reservation unless you walk in towards closing time. Its a small place so they pack you in close. Only downside was not much for cocktails and limited beers but the food is outstanding. If you are looking for authentic Italian this would be a great place to stop. Definitely would come back.
