Restaurant dispensing traditional Cuban entrees & sandwiches in a quaint, unassuming space.

This place is incredible! While we were waiting, the owner generously offered us an appetizer. Everything we ordered was incredibly tasty, and the dessert was equally delicious—not too sweet at all.

Ever since we tried our first Cuban food back in Olympia, WA on a summer vacation recently, we’ve been eager to try more. CasaBlanca Cuban Grill, at first glance online, has a lot more to offer than the first Cuban place we tried. A lot more menu items, for one. (A lot more warmth, for another.)
We were able to try other dishes we’ve been curious about, like the shrimp (or beef, or chicken, or pork) in creole sauce, and the coconut flan.
Everything we ordered was fantastic, deeply flavored, as if and probably simmered on the stove for days, served promptly with smiles and unassuming hospitality.
They know what they’re doing at CasaBlanca Cuban Grill. We hear they’ve been in business for going on 15+ years, there’s a food truck out back, and we can see why. There is a steady line of people coming in, regulars and newbies, and we were there on a Labor Day Weekend, which can get slow for everybody.
I especially appreciate the portions served. Cuban food can be heavy (hearty). The staff is aware of this, so the dishes are appropriately filling but not too much.
We were able to wolf down our pork (so tender!) and shrimp in creole sauce, black beans and white rice, and plantains, without feeling stuffed, and with plenty of room for dessert, a brownie and coconut flan.
Water’s fine, but ask about their drink menu. They have guava and mango juice (the mango runs out).

First time to Casablanca, and I had planned on getting a Cubano sandwich, but then I saw the Fricase de Puerco on the menu and had to try that since it sounded so good. O have to say, it did not disappoint in flavor. It was very tasty, and the pork was so tender it just fell apart. The sides were fine, but not exceptional. The black beans could have used a little more seasoning, and the plantains were delicious – a personal favorite of mine – but there were only 3 small pieces. I almost knocked a star off for the paucity of plantains when I was really hoping for a plethora given the moderately high price of the meal (~$20).
Service was friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere was casual and quiet (I had a late lunch).
I would recommend Casablanca to anyone who likes Latin American / Carribean cuisine, or anyone who likes flavorful food.

I love this place! By far, the best Cuban sandwich I have ever had. I have not dined in yet, but I work close by and order online all the time. The food is always delicious and the staff are always very friendly and seem genuinely happy.

I thought this place was closed. I walked in during happy hour on a Friday and all the chairs were up on the tables. It was about 5 o’clock. I really wanted authentic Cuban food like the ones you find in south Florida. I ordered palomilla steak, ropa vieja, masitas de puerco and flan, yes it was only for myself this is how excited I was. I don’t want to say it was bad but it’s not good either. The palomilla steak is steak with onions parsley and lime, this one came with onions and peppers. The ropa vieja tasted like it came straight out of a can and so did the flan, perhaps the taste of canned cherries. The masitas de puerco weren’t to bad but you could tell they weren’t marinated for a long time. The beans were delicious. The customer service I received was top notch but having lived in south Florida with real Cubans I was a little disappointed. Again it wasn’t that bad it was just so so.

A slice of Cuba, right here in Boise. My absolute favorite restaurant. Every time I come here I think I’m going to try something different, but the puerco asado is so good. It gets me every time.

**A Flavorful Escape to Cuba!**
CasaBlanca Cuban Grill is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and an atmosphere that transported us straight to Havana.
We started with the Tostones Con Mariscos and the Chorizo Croquetas—and WOW. The tostones were perfectly crispy, loaded with flavorful seafood, and the croquetas were rich, smoky, and addictive. We could’ve made a meal just out of those appetizers!
For our main dishes, we had the Camarones Al Ajillo and Ropa Vieja. The shrimp were tender and drenched in a garlicky sauce that was out of this world, and the Ropa Vieja was hands-down the best we’ve ever had—slow-cooked, savory, and full of depth.
Every bite was packed with authentic Cuban flavor and cooked to perfection. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for bold flavors, great service, and a taste of Cuba done right!

Casablanca Cuban Grill made our night with friends even more memorable. Our server, Jesús—also called Chewy—was attentive and personable, with a great sense of humor that added to the overall experience. Our table ordered a variety of pork, fish, and chicken dishes, and every single one was exceptional. I usually don’t care much for plantains, but Casablanca’s were the highlight of my meal—absolutely delicious. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I came here today with my parenta and boyfriend. It was amazing, we got seated and got our drinks and food ordered quickly. Our waiter was helpful and he kept checking in on us. I got the pan de lechon, and it was amazing! The meat had good flavor and the fries were crispy and seasoned well. I loved the fry sauce.
