Probably the worst place I’ve ever eaten but not due to the food, but because of the service and the atmosphere. I ordered chicken kabobs and they were actually pretty good and flavorful. I wouldn’t say they were worth what we paid though.

I would never consider coming back. Ever. Do not go here if you are looking to have a nice meal. The food was pretty good. My girlfriends dish, the kebabs, were seasoned a lot better than my chicken shawarma was. However, the atmosphere was atrocious. Embarrassingly atrocious. I didn’t read the reviews and thought this was a somewhat nice place. It is not. It’s trashy and loud with bad service, bad lighting, bad smells, and an awful vibe. Everyone is smoking hookah and it smells fake and artificial. No server’s care about anyone or anything. We didn’t even have silverware and the first time we asked, they forgot about us. It took forever just to get a table and get waited on. They also messed up my order. It also took forever for the server to pick up the check. On top of all that, after 4 pm there is a mandatory 18% gratuity which NOBODY deserved. Yes, the food tasted good, but it was overpriced and just chicken and rice. Do not go here if you are looking to have a nice meal. I repeat, do not go here.

This venue is a gem just north of DT Milwaukee. Highly recommend a visit during happy hour (4-6pm). Many half price items. Workers, including Nalaya, are very helpful with charcoals and similar. The Baklava is very tasty!

The food was excellent but our waiter (Danny G.) was busy socializing at the bar then sharing a hookah. I had to leave the table with our empty water glasses to get them filled by the bartender. Then about 15 minutes later i went back to the bar to order an after dinner cocktail. The bartender spoke to the manager because she came to our table and asked who our waiter was. Then he appeared a few minutes later and we canceled the after dinner cocktail that he didn’t bring. We paid the check and left. Luckily it didn’t ruin my table mates’ experience because we enjoyed our food at least.

I had a combination plate of three items. It was good except for the shrimp which had a very strong “seawater” taste. It didn’t taste fresh. And I felt it to be over cooked. Our server was great. However their drinks are a little to sweet for me. Also it’s a nice setting however the lights are very low so if you have cataracts I wouldn’t suggest going alone. Other than that. It was ok. Also you have to go up quite a few stairs in order to get to the tables so if you have issues with that I would also take that into consideration as well. All in all I would visit again but definitely be staying away from a few of the menu items.

After walking the Mitchell park domes botanical gardens for the afternoon we were ready to refuel but didn’t want anything were already familiar with. After a quick look on faithful Google search this gem was in the list of options to dine. After reading the reviews and seeing some posts of satisfied on-goers, we decided that we have never tried Mediterranean cuisine, and this would be our first. Upon entering the establishment, its was cozy, laid back, beautiful, and scented with the spiced earthly aromas of cinnamon, garlic, oregano, smokiness of seared meat, and some sweet perfumed hookah.

Loved the ambiance and the food! We went there in June this year. We called to check if they serve halal and they said they do. We ordered lamb chops and steak beef pasta. One of the best lamb chops I had in the area. Pasta was good too, couldn’t finish it because it was too much for me. We sat on the large balcony section. Though the seating was a bit shabby but we didn’t mind because of the view and the food. And it’s a hookah zone so it’s pretty common to have sofa type seating. We will be here again for sure!
