I got a Carne asada taco and it was OK, the homemade corn tortilla made it 3 stars. The meat wasn’t seasoned and the sauce was so thick it tasted like a mole sauce. Service was amazing vary friendly and fast service, very clean place with plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside and out.

Saddest Mexican food experience I’ve had in many years. Esquites “grilled corn” was nothing more than a cold half can of corn. Fajitas was a luke warm (barely) stir fry for $26. For the price you can eat better anywhere. Could not recommend to anyone. Go to Luna or any Taqueria.

We stopped in at this restaurant after a very long evening of driving and were not disappointed! The food was exceptional and the service was attentive and kind. We had the molcajete and the quesafrita. Prices were great and had plenty of leftovers.

This was my first time ordering from here. A lot of places only sell pozole or menudo on the weekends. I was SO HAPPY to hear they have it all week! My husband got sick and I didn’t want to cook so Casa Villa came to save the day! We got pozole and the jicama and cucumber salad. My toddler basically stole the salad from me. The chili oil and the toppings were life. I asked for extra hominy when I phoned in and they came through! Everything was delicious. We’re definitely coming back!** I would have added more photos but I couldn’t wait to dig in!

Came here on a Sunday Lunch and had a great time! Do not be fooled by its appearance; the food is amazing! Authentic Mexican food with great presentation. The virgin mojito was a great addition to a nonalcoholic soda. The food had great taste, and the vegetarian meat was very tender. The chicken was well seasoned on the street tacos and the burrito was very flavorful. Mexican music was playing and many people were present. Ended it off with delicious churros with ice cream.

Casa Villa is an absolute hidden gem that you cannot walk past! From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed like family — the customer service is truly top-notch. Every single staff member is warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to make you feel right at home.

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with flavor and made with so much love and care — it honestly felt like I was eating at my own family’s table. I even found myself licking the sauce off my plate (no shame, it was THAT good)! And the drinks were just as incredible.

If you’re looking for that perfect combination of amazing food, excellent service, and a cozy, authentic atmosphere, Casa Villa is it. Trust me — you’re seriously missing out if you don’t come here!

Excellent food paired with attentive and quick service makes this place a great one to visit. The place was about half full when I visited and the place was quiet. The menu is fairly large – for both meat lovers and vegetarians (though a bit heavy on the “meatless-meat”). The food came steaming hot and was delicious from the first bite to the last. We all ate a bit too much rather than packing up the leftovers to take home.

I am keen to go there again.

I’m not sure why this restaurant has high rating. Service was just okay but was really slow. Food is not good and there’s barely any meat. Pina colada wasn’t great either.

I really enjoyed this small Mexican restaurant within the Willow Glen area. The food has been delicious every time I have visited. Only on a recent occasion my father’s pozole soup was a bit too salty and he didn’t enjoy it as the last time he ordered it. Chilaquiles are always a great simple option. I recommend the guarache, it has a great quantity for 2 people. You can keep it vegan, vegetarian, or add meat. I prefer no meat on mine, but i really enjoy how fresh and perfectly cooked the nopales are in this dish. The orange sauce that comes with it, is fire. I love that spicy balanced flavor. Customer service is always welcoming as well, they can be a bit slow at times, but they really take their time to make sure your dish is to perfection. For dessert I would recommend the flan and a cup of cafe de olla.
