We really enjoyed our dinner. The rest had a great atmosphere. We ate at the bar and enjoyed the gentleman seated next to us. He gave us some dining suggestions for next time. The bartender was friendly and never stopped moving. She was making sure all guests needs were met.

Fish with mojo de ajo in my photos. My husband got it whole and I got the fillet. We requested refried beans to substitute rice and fries. I was very impressed by the beans- they have amazing flavor and a nice creamy consistency. My Dad ordered a few appetizers, but I was only able to photograph the queso fundido, which was great. The bacon wrapped peppers and raw oysters were also delicious.

All the food that we ordered was excellent . The ONLY thing I can say is that your waitress needs to be more friendly, not looking to the customers will ask someone a question, she was looking at the window ( she was wearing a blue T-shirt last night) , the two ladies was wearing black are very good in customer service. Also I asked if I can change my fries to rice and she said it will be an extra charge (I need the manager to respond about this situation).

HORRIBLE SERVICE.
Unfortunately I have to edit this review to show what my service was like.

Came here to celebrate my sons bday. We have come to this place plenty of times. Many, many, many times. After today’s treatment I doubt we will be back. The blonde lady that brought out our food was extremely rude after I mentioned I cannot eat lactose. She made a comment and said tell him to take it off himself. After that she rolled her eyes at me and was rude. When the replacement dish came out it was cold. Seems like they got the original molcajete and emptied into a cold molcajete. I know molcajetes are always boiling out. That to me was a very sneaky move on top of the rude service from the blonde waitress with her hair down which is a food safety violation. Every good moment i had at this place has been completely replaced by this horrible experience. My sons birthday celebration was ruined.

Unfortunately today’s service was extremely horrible. We have literally come to this place at least 1 a week and we travel and hour to come to this place. After this I’d rather take my business elsewhere. If it wasn’t for having such a big party with us I would’ve left.

Nice restaurant, has a large menu! The food is ok, drinks are good!! Nice little bar area! Service is a little slow, maybe cause they where understaffed do to being a Tuesday, but mostly because my server was interested in flirting with some guys at the bar!? But overall it’s good, pricey for the amount of food!

Mariachi & Mariscos is the perfect combination for a Saturday night dinner. The camarón culichi is one of the best I have tasted. My favorite dish was the camarón albañil! I highly recommend it. The service is incredible! Everyone is friendly and helpful.
