We visited for an early dinner on a Saturday afternoon. Restaurant had recently opened (about 2 weeks ago). Front staff was friendly. Server was quiet talking and spoke very little English so at times it was hard to talk through some questions. I know Spanish and because she was quiet and I have DJ hearing, our communication did not always align. Either way, food was “okay”, nothing authentic. I believe they had no beers on draft, bit disappointing. (no drink menu either) The good news…they have quite a bit of interesting options on their menu so we will probably come back in a few weeks to give some other options a try. My assumption is that this place will be good since they have a 1st location in Elgin, just may take some time.

Casa Tequila is a must-visit! The food was fantastic, but what really made our experience special was our server, Noeila. She has the best personality ever and made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she was so attentive throughout our meal. Noeila truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. We can’t wait to come back and hope to be seated in her section again! Highly recommend!

First time visiting, and will be visiting again. The portions were large and flavorful. The staff and service were great! No complaints.

Don’t go for dinner – the lighting is so bad! Really bright white daylight bubs right in your face. You will feel like you are being interrogated. The tough thing is the prices are really only appropriate for dinner so I just stopped going here. It’s sad, I love their food!

Hey the food was great. Nice size plates per price. The rice n beans had a good homemade taste. Flour tortillas were great. Great salsas. Nice clean place. Beautiful colors decoration. Try it out. Good guys. Buen trabajo muchachos.

We sat. Took forever to get drinks. We ordered Tacos and fajitas. Food took foreverand came out in stages. Steak was cold and tough. Sizzling fajita platter? Nope, not here. Servers are inept, management nonexistent. There’s Mexican restaurants everywhere. If they don’t do a company outing to Chili’s across the street to see how customers should be served this place won’t stay open. We won’t return.

Went for lunch on a Sunday with a friend. Beautiful weather but it was empty inside.
Walked in, was free by a host we could barely hear and only because he spoke softly. It was not loud in the establishment. We both commented on how nice it looked inside.
We both ordered the classic margarita because all others were $14 or more. It was simply a premade margarita, fine but not from scratch.
Chips were ok but not warmed and salsa tasted very “ketchup-y” and not even tangy.
I ordered fish tacos which came with rice and beans and a tamale. I should have known the dishes were not hot sine the server had no tray and was carrying them on his arms with no sleeves. But the meal was lukewarm. The menu is extensive with many specialty Mexican dishes. Which made me surprised when the food was not only not spicy nor tangy at all but downright flavorless. Not one jalapeño in sight. The fish was cubed so I felt it was probably some sort of premade filling. Literally…and I mean literally, Chipotle is more flavorful.
My plate of tacos was $17 (ok not bad) but that was one of the cheaper things on the menu.

Here’s where I would tell you to be careful and really read your receipt. The server automatically split our bill (great!) but the way it was broken down on my ticket confused me and I ended up tipping on the full total. At the bottom it shows the total of your check. Theme there is a small section where it shows ck 1 total and ck 2 total (no grand total though so that you don’t make the connection). Then the tip is broken down and shown by percentages based on the GRAND TOTAL! That is definitely on purpose to confuse you!
Anyway, for the price and the flavor, I probably won’t go back.
Once again a fine in restaurant has failed to rise above fast food in taste, cost, and service!

Huge menu. Food came out cold. Tortillas tasted like the store bought kind. Chips were stale and salsa did not taste fresh. They did have vegetarian options.

By far the worst fajitas I have ever had. I tried to send the restaurant an email before leaving a review but couldn’t find any way to communicate online. I could have purchased the worst cut of meat and made better fajitas. Service was non existent. My waitress hung out by the bathroom swiping assuming she was watching tiktok.

Food was excellent but portions were very small. The chicken chimichangas were so tiny I thought I accidentally ordered off the kids menu.
