Casa Tequila Review – War Cry
Reviews
The space is inviting and thoughtfully designed, featuring a giant bar, plenty of comfortable booth seating, and beautiful pierced tin star lanterns that create a warm atmosphere. Parking is easy with a large lot, which is a real plus for this area.
Service was excellent, especially considering they’ve been open for less than a week. Chips and salsa arrived right away, with both a mild and a spicier option. Drinks were generous, and the food portions were more than satisfying. We ordered a burrito and a combination plate with tacos and cheese enchiladas. The shredded beef taco stood out with especially rich, flavorful seasoning.
We went in expecting the typical “new restaurant” learning curve, yet were pleasantly surprised by how smooth and welcoming the experience was. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up, which says a lot.
Casa Tequila is a great addition to the Jupiter Farms area, and we will definitely be back. They’re doing an impressive job right out of the gate.
The other reviewer left a 1-star review and the Jupiter location didn’t even open until February 4th. So, it is a bogus review and should be removed. I’ve notified Facebook.
I noticed that there are four 1-star reviews just before mine. They must be the competition, because, in my opinion, every thing they said is totally false and absurd. They must have been there at the same time I was, and what they said is totally false. It’s a shame that people are fabricating bad reviews trying to hurt a business that has been so long in the making. Don’t be discouraged by their reviews. This restaurant is awesome.
Anyway, I’ve waited three years for Casa Tequila, Jupiter to open and I was finally able to go today February 5th, the day after they opened. They did not disappoint.
The interior decorations are the best that I’ve seen at any Mexican food restaurant. The main wall has two very large masterfully hand-painted murals, one of a senorita and the other of a senora. The booths and chairs seating appear to be real leather and are very elegant and comfortable. They have two main dining areas, a patio, and a very nicely decorated bar area with bar seating and booths. As their name might imply, their tequila selection is extensive.
The staff were all very friendly and efficient. We were greeted at the entrance promptly, seated, and serviced without delay. The table tender and waiter were friendly and glad to serve you.
I had the #14, which is a chile relleno, beef enchilada, and tostada. They were glad to accommodate me when I substituted for a cheese enchilada and beef taco. The meal was prepared in a reasonable time and done to perfection. In fact, the chile relleno was the best I’ve had from any restaurant in town. Their house margarita was also one of the best I’ve tasted.
Yes, as another reviewer stated, they do have a cash and credit card bill, but there was only a $1.25 difference.
It is so nice to have a high quality Mexican food restaurant nearby. I will be a regular customer.

This is my first “dinner” visit and the atmosphere was quite different. There were only about two open booths, so it was quite busy. With the crowd comes more noise, and it was very noisy, especially with loud children. I think the sound could be greatly reduced if they would add decorations to the walls. With the high ceiling and bare walls, the sound is amplified, making it uncomfortably loud. Also, to our surprise, the middle-aged male waiter was very rude. He had an attitude, was unfriendly in his speech, and acted like he hated his job. That, with the overwhelming sound, really dampened the experience.
The food, however, was excellent. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp. I’ve had this before at other restaurants and this was quite different. Unlike shrimp, wrapped with crispy bacon, this dish was served fajita style, with the bacon, shrimp, and vegetables served on a hot fajita pan, accompanied with avacado, rice, beans, lettuce, and flour tortillas on another plate. So, the bacon was not crispy, if that matters. The flavors were quite good.
My wife had an enchilada and tostada plate. She asked to substitute the tosdada with a taco and the waiter rudely said No! That’s all, just “No”! He was very rude.
I still left the 5-star rating, because everything else was excellent and we didn’t want to let our waiter, and the noise, to be a factor, for now.
Inside, the space feels warm and inviting, with high ceilings, a beautiful bar, a couple of hand-painted murals, and pretty hanging lights, along with large comfortable booths. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and thoughtfully designed.
The service was fantastic—very warm and genuine. After being greeted by our server, our margaritas and other beverages arrived promptly, along with a basket of fresh, warm tortilla chips and delicious homemade salsa.
I ordered Combo Dinner #1, which included one taco and one enchilada served with Mexican rice, refried beans, and a small mixed salad. I also added guacamole for $2. Since I don’t eat dairy, I asked for no cheese or sour cream, and the kitchen accommodated the request perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised by both the presentation and the flavors. The enchilada sauce really made the dish—so good!
Everyone at the table was happy with their entrees, and we all agreed we can’t wait to come back again soon. Casa Tequila has quickly become one of my new favorite restaurants!
